Long time customer here. My dog has been going here for at least 5.5/ 6 years. Last two time or three haven’t been good at all. I noticed change of ownership and it went down hill.

My dog just turned 9 but he never in his life gone to bathroom on himself. I pick him up last time he so soaking wet. I asked what happened they claim he peed on himself. They said once or twice didn’t give him a bath was just gonna go home soaking wet.

We just picked him up today and he we again had the same thing but worse. He had a poop and pee all over his butt and on the sides of his legs no one cared to notice and no one cared to do anything about it. They told my husband today that they are only there Saturdays 9 to 11. And like 6 to 7 so . I thought we were supposed to be getting daycare but it doesn’t seem like we’re getting that like we used to anymore either. They’re not there Saturdays or Sundays.I feel like their standards and care for the dogs who play with them has gone significantly down. Please check on the dogs when you go there don’t just take them out and then put them back in their cage that is not right. The photos I have on my dog is kind of considering abuse or neglect by how he was left, we will not be coming back. We used them for years half of my adult life and now one of his favorite places is now no longer. No one ever answer the phone anymore. You used to get phone of your pet and report card.

I left my 2 dogs boarding for 5 days and the had a wonderful time. So happy to have found a place that genuinely care for animals.
Their services include day care, grooming, boarding, Birthday celebration for your pets, doggie bakery, and a veterinarian from 2nd Avenue Animal Hospital.
Opal and Mauricio (the husky) had a lot of fun. They sent us pictures of their fun activities every day!
Very pleased with the their care and services.

Made a reservation several weeks ahead of time and clarified a Sunday drop off for our pet. The Sunday drop off had been confirmed again several days prior. Showed up to no staff present, called several times throughout the day with no answer or call back the days following. Was forced to find another place to board our pet the same day.

2nd Home will send you cute photos of your fur baby in their daily report cards, which include a short summary of the behavior, activities or demeanor of your dog from that day.

I hate having to board my buddy, but I know he’s in good hands here!

I cannot say enough good about this place. After using another kennel for years we tried these guys...we are NEVER going back to the other one. The place is professional, clean, and I could tell our four dogs had a blast. To top it off the got complimentary baths and they did a better job than our regular groomer. If we are heading out of town I am confident that we will be using these guys again and I recommend them to anyone that values the safety and care of their dogs. 5 Stars...I would add 5 more if it would let me.

This resort used to be my top choice out of a handul in this area. I am a nurse and I vaccinate my dogs (minus rabies im accordance to the law). With no notice they started enforcing an old policy or made a new policy 🤷‍♀️, manager was clueless on this matter. Boarding was booked near January with no notification of such changes. So less than 30 days out of our missions trip, we had to scramble to snag boarding which isn't always easy with this timeframe. Manager states they care for their pets, so I guess prior to December '23 they did not. The new manager enjoyed sharing her number of years experience but acted like it's unheard of for owners to vaccinate their own dogs. I use 3 more boarding places that accept it in this area as well as multiple places out of state while traveling. It's really not a big deal if they want to enforce such policy, but how hard is it to shoot an email to notify people of changes? I'm so glad we sent the shot records ahead of time. If I would have shown up on the day of travel and received this rejection, I would have been livid.

Boarded my dog here for 2 nights. A very large and clean boarding facility. Very friendly staff. They sent me pictures of my dog every day we were gone. We ended up running late to pick him up and the staff was very accommodating. The only negative was I had asked him to be bathed but he wasn't. They didn't end up charging me for it tho so it wasn't a big deal. Still pretty happy with the experience.
