The absolutely worst place to take your child. We were schedule for a sick visit here as our primary office was booked for the day. After waiting 45 minutes, Dr. Yaroslav Bodnar enters the room complaining about having to deal with a difficult patient. In my opinion that was very unprofessional. During the visit, the doctor was more concerned with completing his documentation for his “assessment” rather than physically assessing my child. He was very dismissive as I was trying to explain my son’s issues. Ultimately we left the visit with NO diagnosis. It’s hard to tell if he didn’t know what the issue was or if he just didn’t care. Literally said it’s something viral and to follow up with my son’s pediatrician and dermatologist. The appointment was an absolute waste of time and disbelief of the lack of care and concern provided. My son had a SEVERE rash all over his body, and had been having diarrhea all week long. Turns out my son had hand, foot & mouth from daycare. Thanks to Dr. Google we were able to determine this at no charge. Unfortunately, UNC will be providing us a bill for time spent waiting in office for an unprofessional doctor. I am thankful for the internet as it seems like it’s the best place to get the care you need. We left this visit literally feeling the need to take our child to urgent care. Normally an after visit summary is provided for each visit, but I guess we didn’t receive one due to no diagnosis or care being provided. UNC Health really needs to do better.

Dr. Mullen is the most professional and very respectful doctor. He's sits there and listen doesn't judge you. He's very caring doctor. Going to missed him.

I called for medical records concerning shots I've taken in the past. Upon requesting a printed copy of my records - which I needed for school and the lady on the line offered to provide me - she proceeded to say something unintelligible, to which I kindly replied: "I'm sorry, could you repeat that?" - before she just hung up. She held a rude demeanor through the entire duration of the call, and I called back twice only to be directed to voicemail.

I get that you might not like your job, but you work in health. Grow up. People's lives and livelihoods are on the line and people depend on you. If you can't handle that then get a desk job somewhere else.

We have been cared for by OFM physicians and staff for over 30 years. We can't say enough about the excellent treatment we have received. In more than three decades, we have rarely had to wait longer than a few moments to see our physician or the urgent care staff. Front desk staff has always been kind and friendly. Orange Family Medical is an excellent place to receive medical care.

My family and I have gone here for the last 7 years and I have been very pleased with our experiences. Yes, there can be a long wait for urgent care depending on the time of day, but that is because each patient is not rushed but listened to and examined carefully. If you are able to wait for a less busy time, you can be seen almost right away. I have seen every PA that works here more than once and they are all great. And they are open 7 days a week which is phenomenal! It's great to have this office in downtown Hillsborough and not have to drive to the nearest city for care.

Have been a patient since it was a private practice. Very good doctors, but clinic management has deteriorated.

This morning, less than one hour before my scheduled appointment, I was called to cancel it. I was offered a “video visit,”…for a visit that requires bloodwork to be drawn. They were “short staffed.” This is a UNC-run facility, and you’re short staffed with no backup plan for patients who organized their day around such appointments?

Not the first time that this has happened. Expect long waits, even if you do have an appointment.

Orange family medical group has turned into the biggest joke ever since axelbank has left! U want an reg doc apt .. ah year. An my children see 3 different doctors in this building yet they can't provide my children with a appointment for a yr. According to them THIS is why u schedule ur appointment before u leave ur current physical. So when I ask the lady ..really do u have kids because I have 5 very active kids an I have zero idea what I will be doing a yr from now to make a apt for that day. Her response was no. But her only answer as to whyyyyyyyy u would look at ur patients of 15+ yrs an tell them ...sorry can't help ya best I can do next yr is acceptable SHE DIDNT HAVE A ANSWER ..BECAUSE IT IS NOT! Will be going ANYWHERE ELSE!!!!!!

Staff somewhat rude and dismissive. Here for a walk in, 2 1/2 to 3 hour wait. I am a patient person and do realize there is a wait at a doctors office and I am not the only person needing care, but this seems excessive. Called earlier, they wouldn't make an appointment, said to walk in. When I mentioned that at check in, politely, she just ignored it and asked for my copay. Other customers said the same thing, not as nicely as I did. Last time I came here, was dehydrated, they couldn't give me fluids, went to emergency room, now I have a $1600 bill, after insurance paid!! I am a teacher with no raises. Also saw a nurse practitioner and not a doctor, not a very pleasant demeanor for a medical professional. Hoping I never have to come back!
