My son (8) is a patient at this office and I'm very disappointed in the care he received on 02/15.
He and his brother (10) tested positive for the flu 8 days ago and we rode the roller coaster of symptoms. While his brother (10) started to improve, my youngest developed a wet, productive cough that no medication would help. Out of an abundance of caution I went to his pediatrician to make sure he hadn't developed a secondary infection/virus.
The doctor looked at his throat and ears and said "everything looks good....when they've been sick like with the flu we're always concerned about a secondary infection if their symptoms aren't getting any better. We look for things like strep, ear infections and pneumonia...the great news is he doesn't have any of those things." Keep in mind his glands were not palpated, nor were any scans suggested.
The next morning he wakes crying that his throat hurts and his lymph nodes in his neck are the size of golf balls.
Off to the ER we go, to find out he does indeed have pneumonia in the right lung. He's had a marked improvement after just 2 doses of antibiotics.
I'm so glad I trusted my mother's intuition, instead of the "medical professional" at this practice.

My kids have been going to this doctor’s office since they were newborns (now 5 and 6). I’ve always felt well taken care of here and never judged for anything. They’re always quick with responses and whenever my kids are sick they’re seen the same day.

We made an appointment here 2 days after our son was born and the process was very easy. My son has been seen here for a few months now and we love the service. His provider and nurse are respectful, caring, and very informative. They are very welcoming and open to any questions we had.

I just want to say that Harley Bonnaville is a great pediatrician. She is so personable as well as her nurse. They remember my son everytime he comes in. My son just turned 1 and she even offers to help hold him everytime to help while I fill out paperwork. She has always made sure if anything is wrong with him is resolved!! I would recommend Harley Bonniaville to anyone and the pediatric associates of Williamsburg to anyone!

Very disappointed in this office, would not recommend Dr. Tyler to no one, wasn’t friendly at all. He was very short and really didn’t give no after care instructions. And the nurse that was with him today, I don’t know her name, but I don’t want her or him to see my child again or I will leave this practice. Been going to this practice for 10 years and haven’t experienced this behavior before. The nurse or whoever she was acted as if she was in a rush, so rude.

They allow their patients to be sick for months with parents calling weekly without even bothering to suggest they bring the child in, yet won’t prescribe the child anything over the phone either. I’ve never had a doctors office tell you there’s nothing they can do when they’ve done nothing yet. NOT A SINGLE THING. No blood work, no urine samples, no stool samples. NOTHING! Not even a bring him in tomorrow. Very unprofessional and concerning that they seem not to care about their patients. Looking for a new pediatrician immediately.

At first I really enjoyed this practice but that slowly turned to dislike. You will sit on hold whenever you call, no matter the time of day. The one thing that I really don't like about this practice is the nurse line. They are about the rudest nurses I've ever talked to in my life! I've seen three of the pediatricians at the practice and I am really not pleased. They make it very obvious they just want money from your insurance and don't care for your child at all. My daughter is four months old and still dealing with unresolved reflux that they basically just tell me that she will grow out of, they are of no help whatsoever. The receptionists behind the counter love to just talk to each other and ignore you. The only saving grace is one of the nurses that work there. I can't remember her name but she is such a sweet older woman! I really love her but she isn't worth staying at a practice I feel doesn't care about my child.

I have been taking all three of my children to P.A.W since they were born, which has been almost 9 years now. Yes, I've had to wait in the waiting room for a little longer than I would've liked and on more than one occasion, but I also understand that sometimes different patients have different needs and the 15 minute time slots the doctors are given for each patient sometimes just is not enough! I've never had any issues with the front desk staff, they've always been courteous enough and I've gotten sick appointments the day of almost Everytime I've needed them! No complaints here! I've been seeing Dr.Tyler for a while now and I just absolutely love him!
