I hired ServPro of Lakeland, who was one of the recommended contractors by the environmental consultant, to remove mold from behind the vanity cabinet in our master bathroom. It was a small job, but Robert Lay and his team treated it, and us, as if it was a high priority for them. They did an excellent job. Robert and Mike kept us very involved with the process, timing, and strategies. Other than being without our bathroom for 10 days, it was a good experience. Robert communicated with us via text, email, and phone calls to let us know the status, when they would arrive each day, and what they would do. Robert was familiar with the environmental consultant, so the knowledge transfer was seamless.

ServPro of Lakeland did an excellent job at what they do. The only caveat is knowing what they do. The ServPro national commercial about “making it like it never happened” does not apply to all franchises. ServPro of Lakeland does not conduct environmental air testing, establish root causes, or restore or rebuild. This wasn’t a major issue since Robert recommended local contractors who could complete the restoration and rebuild. ServPro of Lakeland removed the mold and all affected materials - drywall, cabinets, and wood. They did enough of what they needed to eradicate the mold. They did work with me to confirm my suspicions of the source, but I needed to repair the issues.

All-in-all, the ServPro of Lakeland team was great and we hope we never have to utilize their services again. But if we did, we would definitely hire them again.

I highly recommend them for their services… they were so informative and great . We went through two hurricanes while they were providing services and they handled it like champs and worked hard helping others in the Tampa area… a BIG thank you to Jesse Mike and the gentleman who worked with Mike you all are awesome and great at what you do… I’m hoping to never experience another pipe bust but if we do I know who I’m calling !!!

Robert Lay and his men assisted us with the water damage and mold cleanup. They came right in being professional, kind, and courteous. They took the stress out of the whole experience all while getting the work done. They rolled out mats to protect our floors and made sure to clean up after they left every day. They were respectful of our space. Thank you Servpro for everything. You were efficient, tidy, and kept us informed every step of the way. We will definitely recommend you to our family and friends.

Servpro has a great team. We had water pump out of our washing machine flooding our upstairs. When we called Servpro they were very quick to get here and get fans and dehumifiers going. From start to finish they kept us updated. They did a great job and everyone that we worked with were friendly, polite, and knew what they were doing. Hopefully we won't have need of their clean up services again, but they will always be our first call if we do.

Servpro helped my wife and I out a few months ago when we had a backed up AC unit drip water through our bedroom ceiling. They promptly arrived, assessed the situation, and discussed next steps and price on the spot.

There wasn't a single day in the week they assisted with the leak cleanup where they did not check our progress.

Overall, excellent experience with transparency, customer service, and actual service. They will be our go to if we experience another leak in the future.

If I could give this company less than one star I would. Post Milton, the school where I teach used this company to do repairs and provide disaster relief. That is what is says on the side of their vehicles. As a teacher, upon return to my classroom, what was discovered was awful. The employees at this company helped themselves to the snacks that I purchased for my students, trashed the rugs I bought for my classroom, and helped themselves to whatever I had in my personal fridge. My Samsung earbuds were taken from my charger in the charging case and if that was not enough, the workers left the trash behind to let me know they ate the snacks, took the cases of snacks, and definitely heled themselves to what ever they wanted. I am currently out a total of $270.00. I want to point out that I suffered loss to Milton just like many others, specifically teachers. I am not alone in victimization, other teachers suffered the same, stolen food, stolen items, etc. What is wrong with people? Why would you take from children? We purchased these things for students who also suffered loss of food at home. We don't have money to replace these things we just keep doing what we do and God will take care of us, but Serve Pro, your workers are thieves, they take from children, and they disrespect adults in the worst moments possible. Shame on you!!!!!!! We spoke to the supervisors about it and this was the response "I will talk to them again about not doing that" This means you talked to them before and they clearly did not listen. Serve pro is responsible for the actions of their employees. Now that you know what they did, what are you going to do to make it right?

Shawn and Kyler came to the house and observed the loss and found mold behind the bookcase..We had no idea it was there and I feel they saved our lives because we had no thought of mold...They had to move every thing out including the computer and printer...Kyler knew exactly what to do to make the move extremely safe and comfortable for me...After a day or two I had a problem and Kyler actually came to our home and fixed the computer so I could continue to use it Kyler is dependable and always was able to answer all my questions, he is very knowledgeable about his work....That was a very important thing to do for my confidence because I felt lost...Shawn and Kyler did everything they could to make my husband and I feel involved and safe....
