We had such a great time riding with Joe! His horses were so well mannered and great to ride! Getting to horse back ride up in the La Sal mountain area was beautiful! The best part was that Joe and his horses can accommodate all ages of kids! We had our 4, 6 & 9 year old girls riding with us! Most horse back riding places wouldn’t take such young kids so it was great to find a place that has horses that are perfect for younger riders! We did the one hour ride and that was the perfect amount of time for the kids! I would have loved to stay all day on the horses!

This was the best riding experience! I grew up on a cattle ranch and wanted to share my love for horses with ny kids. Mountain Joe delivered! He has well kept horses and allowed the kids to trot and rein the horses. Offers varied levels of rides depending on your experience and comfort level. We will be back!

We went on a 2 hour trail ride with Joe! It was amazing. It was my first time riding and Ruby was a comfortable horse to ride on! Joe is very hospitable and very well versed about the area we rode in. He makes it comfortable and not awkward. We are definitely going to contact him when we are back in Moab!

Joe, as we found out is from Minnesota...as we are. Very friendly, east going, knowledgeable, and a very genuine man! The ride was fantastic! Not your usual ride in a loop. We were on trails most of the time, but meandered quite a bit, allowing us to experience the mountains, scenery, and some humerous discussions. 5 stars all the way, all day! Thanks Joe...

We had an excellent experience!!
It was easy to book and the web page had thorough directions in finding our meeting place. Joe was very welcoming and did a great job matching us up with suitable horses. The trail we took was beautiful with some great viewing points. Joe and his horses were great, and I definitely recommend going on a trail ride with them.

Our experience was amazing through and through. Small family owned company. Marjorie was extremely helpful and sweet leading up to the day of the ride. We were met by Joe and his horses and This is one of the best commercial guided trail rides I’ve ever been on. It was absolutely beautiful and loved that the ride was tailored to us.
I would recommend this to anyone coming through Moab or those who live here as well. Truly one of the best days!!

My husband surprised me with a 2 hour trail ride. Joe was amazing! It wasn't a nose to tail ride like everywhere else and gave us freedom to roam and explore while with him! 11/10 recommend and definitely will be coming back!

Definitely the absolute best ride experience I've had (and I've been riding for 6 years)! Joe was a fantastic guide and the views were verybeautiful! There is also a lot of off-trail riding and a few spots where you can run the horses. This is a mom & pop business, and was an absolute a blast; way better than any dude ranch! 10/10 recommend and will be coming back if I'm ever in the area!
