We participated in the six-week group leash walking class with our 18-month-old lab, Frankie, an extreme puller who we couldn't walk enjoyably on leash. Throughout the six weeks, we learned the best tools and skills to walk Frankie around our neighborhood and beyond with ease, as well as door manners and the art of doing nothing in public. Joe's philosophy is easy to grasp, and luckily, Frankie responded well to the training. We are so grateful to Joe and Lindsey for helping us enjoy walks with Frankie again!

Joe and LIndsey are great to work with and very knowledgeable about problem solving based on each individual dog's personality. I appreciate the gentle way Joe deals with all of the dogs and pays attention to what motivates them. We have two heading dogs- cattle dog and a Mudi. They were great 90% of the time with positive reinforcement, but that 10% of time where they were distracted and not listening was problematic. We reached out to Joe after feeling very frustrated and feeling like we didn’t get desired results with other trainers. We went the e-collar training route and the results have been amazing. Joe is truly the best and I would absolutely trust him with our dogs again. I cannot speak highly enough of his training program.

Joe taught me ways to manage my ACD Goose and got me started on building manners for responsible public access. He explains how and why I need to do something in a way that’s easy to understand. I also appreciate his quick communication and his guidance on using tools correctly.

When Goose and I first started working with Joe it was during puppy classes. I believe it really helped me read my dog, adapt accordingly and strengthen our relationship. Joe is transparent, professional, kind and patient. Plus, it’s hilarious watching him pull out different random objects in Home Depot to desensitize our dogs!

Finding the right trainer for you is extremely important as it shapes the upcoming future with your dog. I couldn’t be happier with my decision of going to Joe. Goose is particularly difficult and this has made all the difference. I fully trust that he’s doing everything for our benefit and I look forward to any more training we do!
