Honestly it’s a really nice place. But the psychiatrist is actually horrific and should never be working with people with Complex mental illness. I didn’t end up graduating from the program because of that psychiatrist. a week before I was about to graduate I ran out of my medication but the other psychiatrist I was seeing with them was not there. (Before switching to this psychiatrist I was seeing the really horrible one) I demanded a switch because the other psychiatrist treated me like I’m not a human. I was not made aware I was gonna be pulled into a zoom call with that therapist. She accuse me of overtaking my medication which was not true cause someone gives me my medication. She was not buying that and I started to cry after the call. I was very firm with the program that this is extremely unprofessional to accuse of something like that which wasn’t even possible for me to do. I decided to drop out. I had good experiences in the past with them but this psychiatrist tainted this whole experience/ facility and I do not recommend anyone coming here

I am so grateful to have found this place. Everyone here is incredibly supporting, caring and understanding. the therapists are great, dr. akunna is amazing and my group members make it worth coming to each day.

I cant even begin to express how helpful the staff at Innerspace was. Each and every therapist there were some of the kindest, and most compassionate people. I attended the Adult IOP program and I learned a lot. The program itself was great, even in some of the more heavy topics that need to be addressed, they made it feel not so overwhelming and were very understanding if you needed to step out and regain composure during those heavy topics. The groups themselves were also very engaging but were also very understanding if you didnt feel comfortable sharing. The Individual therapists that you work with were all so caring, and were very good at breaking down the things that were troubling me. We worked on many things to help aid the struggles I was facing and I can confidently say I can handle them going forward. All in all, I highly recommend this program for people who are struggling with their mental health. The process may take time but it is absolutely worth it in the long run. Thank you Innerspace for all the care you've given me.

My daughter only had 2 sessions here , her name is My’Unique , when i say the people here made myself and my daughter very comfortable , im speaking nothing but the truth , they take their time with the patient & the patients family member their communication with you is amazing you will never feel like your confused and don’t know what’s going on with your child , they made me feel very safe and that i could trust them with the well being of my child, Dani was super amazing, due to our insurance change we couldn’t move forward so that was the only reason for us leaving innerspace but i def recommend them to anyone seeking therapy in the surrounding area

I was referred to Innerspace Counseling due to overwhelming stress /burnout due to work and family issues. As difficult it was to realize I needed help, the PHP/IOP programs were life-changing for me. The therapists rotated running the groups; each therapist was knowledgeable about DBT and created a safe, welcoming environment. The support and feedback I received from other members in the group was a critical part of my progressing in the program. I looked forward to meeting with my individual therapist, Taylor, who encouraged and supported me throughout my time at Innerspace. I am grateful to the staff and the group members who helped me through the most difficult time of my life.

After a mental health crisis I went to Innerspace. It was the best help I could possibly hope to receive. The staff are all friendly and welcoming. The fellow clients are also very supportive of one another. Innerspace is also hands on helpful with what you need and work with you in your journey. I couldn’t have gotten this far without them! Thank you Innerspace for helping me heal and find my aftercare therapist!

Not that bad of a place but I did have some problems throughout my time at Innerspace. My therapist was extremely helpful and very sweet, she made my experience so much better. If I didn’t have her as a therapist, I so would have went to Princeton house since my friend recommended them. The Psychiatrist here is kinda passive aggressive, she came off blunt and just asks you questions, almost seems like she doesn’t care. I was set to leave in December but ended up getting pushed to February, I’m assuming they thought I needed more care even though I personally thought I was much better. There have been multiple times I tried to leave this program because I wanted to go back to one on one therapy and didn’t need the extensive group sessions, I had different numbers calling me saying that would be avoiding medical instructions, and basically gaslit me into staying and made me feel bad. I also got random charges with no receipts, one time it was $800 and no email or anything explaining what days it covered or even on their portal, you sign up and there’s literally nothing on it. My mom found it very sketchy, wish I listened to her. But this place did help me minus all of the negatives, I think it was more so the medication that helped me which you can get easily without being in a program.
