Lynn and her team took loving care of our boxers for four years. Both of our dogs loved going there - they always sprinted right to the door each morning and were treated like family. We cannot say enough good things and highly recommend Lynn and A Dog Gone Good Place!

This place is a bit questionable. Seems fine at first but my dog did not want to go back after several sessions. He kept pulling in the opposite direction and even peed on some equipment there when I was dropping him off one time, which should tell you everything you need to know. He's communicating something bad to me. I also think it's a shame they lock dogs up twice a day. What's the point? Let them run free! That's why we pay you! Picking up is such a painful process with all the dogs barking from their confinement in this echoey room. No wonder my dog gets stressed out and refuses to walk through the front door.

Even one of the bigger selling points, the pool, is closed. The word is an injury happened there at one point which would make sense. But get rid of the pool and make use of the space!

The owner has always been a bit snippy on the phone and in person, too. If you're unhappy why keep doing this?

They also charge more if you use a credit card which is a bit absurd.

My dogs have a lot of fun and like the people here. The camera feed is nice. The outdoor area is a huge selling point for us. The price is comparable to other daycares in the tri-county area.

Amazing staff and facility. My dog is so excited in the morning when he knows he’s going and he’s exhausted when we pick him up. Their onsite grooming is also exceptional.

They lost my puppy. Took them over two hours to find her and they even had to call the cops to help. Then the owner tried to lie to me and act like my dog was some sort of escape artist. After speaking to an employee, they informed me that someone actually left the doors open and that’s how she got out.
After this experience I will never use a dog kennel ever again, especially this one.
Now I hire someone to stay at my house with my dogs where they are comfortable and safe and cost about the same, if not less then my babies being in a kennel.

Now they are writing saying they never lost her! Don’t believe them!!! Why would I lie about something like that. I can PROMISE you this took place!!!!

Our dogs have been going to DogGone since 2020. I cannot speak more highly of Lynn and her entire crew. Our dogs are like family there. They have always been treated with the utmost care and always come home from doggy day care and/or boarding totally exhausted--exactly the point! You will not find a better place for your pets in the Portland Metro Area.

First time calling they answered the phone "hello" without declaring the business name or who I was talking to. That was the first red flag for professionalism. Then I set an appointment for an immediate nail trim the following day. The morning of the appointment they called to bump me to the next week because "their water wasn't working". I guess to elaborate they couldn't ask to keep their groomer around until my appointment time as it was the end of their day. So instead of asking me to come in earlier they bumped me. And after the employee was able to seek approval they were able to schedule me for the next day (Saturday). So IDK why I had to wait for monday when it could've been saturday I don't know why the water was relevant for a nail trim.

I do know that first impressions matter. Honesty and integrity matter. It felt like I was being lied to about the water. Also that they were comfortable enough sending away a potentially new lifelong (dogs-lifelong) customer.

So I called the next place and they took walk ins and were professional.
