This place is amazing. I sadly let my pup get a bit matted due to a family medical situation causing a delay in the time I got her in for grooming. They took their time to care for the coat without shaving my baby down. She looked amazing! She was so happy when I picked her up too so I know she was treated with love and patience. I know have her on a schedule and will continue to come back. The prices are competitive compared to most groomers too and they really pay attention to detail. Her coat was so soft and shiny and she smelled so good.

My 3 dogs have been going to Jennifer for over 8 years now. She does an excellent job grooming them. They are always picture perfect when I pick them up. She also boards my dogs when I go away. I would not trust anyone else to board them. She cares for them as if they were her own. My dogs are always so happy to see her. I highly recommend “A Grooming Palace” and Jennifer!!!

Jennifer is fantastic! My shy little sheltie, Noel, loves her. Noel jumps out of the car happy to greet the staff. I board and have Jennifer groom Noel at A1. I love the home atmosphere, it makes for a happier puppy dog. Not the typical drama of a kennel, with barking dogs, cages and runs. I highly recommend A1 Grooming Palace.

I brought my lab/shepherd mix to Jennifer for daycare for several months without any major issues. He usually came 3 days a week. The only complaint I had was sometimes it was a little difficult to communicate with her. (Communicating via text, which I was told was a sufficient way to communicate, then not receiving replies for sometimes hours). In December, I boarded my dog with Jennifer for 6 nights. I let her know that we'd be coming back on Saturday but I wasn't sure exactly what time. She told me just to communicate with her so I could come get him (if it wasn't too late Saturday). I texted her a couple of different times that day with an update of where I was at and my ETA to pick up my dog. No reply the entire day. I decided I'd go ahead and stop by to pick him up on my way home, given it was only around 5 or 6pm, and she wasn't there when I got there. I called her a couple of times from the driveway, as well as texted, with no response. I reluctantly had to go ahead and go home without my dog (which sucked after not seeing him for a week), and finally a couple of hours later she informs me she was busy doing something that day and to go ahead and come back to puck him up. Not even an apology. Although at pickup she did let me know that she "forgot to tell me there are certain pickup times..." Even worse, he was covered in fleas when I picked him up and I had to take him to the vet and buy a flea treatment for him. When I told her he had fleas she just brushed it off and didn't really acknowledge it, and I didn't push it.

Then in February of this year Jennifer lets me know while I'm picking my dog up that she will be leaving in 2 DAYS for a month long vacation, which sucked because like I said, I regularly took my dog there for daycare and relied on her for his care while I worked. This left me with no time to find alternative arrangements. After about 6 weeks, when she should've been back from vacation but not hearing anything from her, I reached out via text to ask if she was home and if I could bring my dog back to daycare. That was a month ago and I was ignored.

Ultimately, Jennifer was okay for dog care, but does not operate as a professional business. Affordable, but for daycare I'd recommended a more professional establishment that you can be in communication with.

Amazing, the pups look so great when they have been groomed there. And the boarding is just the best. The pups can be on the beds, the couches, come and go outside through the doggie doors to the fenced play area, just great.
