I want to thank Pauline for going above and beyond to help me get my medication. She was so kind, patient, and genuinely cared about making sure everything worked out. She took extra time to solve the issue and made what could’ve been a stressful experience so much easier. I visited this office with some genuine concerns, but unfortunately had a disappointing experience. The doctor seemed rushed and disengaged, as if they were ready to leave the moment I walked in. The staff appeared unhelpful and uninterested, which made the entire visit feel uncomfortable. I didn’t feel heard or cared for, and the doctor didn’t seem particularly knowledgeable or invested in addressing my concerns. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this office. The Dr was literally walking to the door in the middle of the conversation.

they make you feel very comfortable. The office is well organized and they take you on time for treatment. Definitely a 5 star organization.

As usual, the care and attention Nurse Practioner Dunya extends is excellent. And it’s nice to be remembered… Dunya asked about my previous health issues that she addressed years ago! Always a pleasant visit, even when she needs to freeze and/or cut stuff off! 🙂

Been patient of Dr Ottuso for over 20 years. He's now retired and Advance Dermatology will not work for me.
This will be my last visit, looking for new doctor.

I am writing this review to express my profound disappointment with Advanced Dermatology in Sebastian, FL. The name itself suggests cutting-edge treatments, but my experience revealed that their offerings were no different from a general dermatology practice. This discrepancy felt misleading.

However, the lack of "advanced" options was not the most upsetting aspect of my visit. What truly prompted me to write this review was the dismissive and frankly, damaging way I was treated by the dermatologist. I confided in them about my concerns, hoping for understanding and support. Instead, I was made to feel incredibly self-conscious and was even given the impression that I somehow deserved my condition. This lack of empathy and professionalism is shocking and unacceptable in a healthcare setting.

It's a stark contrast to my recent experience with another dermatologist who has shown me genuine respect and understanding regarding my issues. This positive change in care has highlighted just how poorly I was treated at Advanced Dermatology.

To add insult to injury, I recently received an email soliciting votes for Advanced Dermatology as the "best." Based on my experience, I can confidently say they are far from it. In fact, I would rate them as the worst dermatology practice I have encountered in Florida.

I strongly advise anyone seeking dermatological care to consider other options where you can expect not only effective treatment but also basic human decency and respect. My experience at Advanced Dermatology in Sebastian was disheartening and has unfortunately left a lasting negative impression.
