The dentists & staff are very kind and caring.
They are generally very booked up, like 6+ months out, which is somewhat concerning, and even more concerning is that you cannot simply “call and talk to a receptionist or call and make an appointment “ You have to wait for them to call you back within 24 hours. Calling the number provided on line is a bit misleading. It says to hold, and keep holding for the next available person, but after 15 minutes it finally informs you that you need to just leave a message and wait the 24 hours for a call back. That’s a bit discouraging. Especially if you call on a Friday morning! 🥹
I do think they are very knowledgeable and talented dentists and that’s most reassuring!
Maddie is a very personable hygienist and I do appreciate the quality of dentistry I have received in the end. 💜
I do hope in the future it will be easier to make an appointment if needed. It seems to me these issues are bigger than the nice people working there in the office.
I’m giving them 5 stars because in the end I’ve been treated well and I am thankful.

I have been here multiple times. Each time has been such a pleasant experience; from the front office to the dentist chair. I had the worst possible experience imaginable.

I was referred to another office for specific work. The appointment was 4 months out. I called a week before the appointment from a trip in CA for a critically ill family member who did pass away.
They did not respond to my questions prior to my return. Upon returning for specific oral work and I missed the actual funeral service in CA for the work.

I learned day before the actual appointment the oral work they referred me for to their Hillsboro Office no longer offered the service I was referred for and waited 4 Months.

Their answer was to find a denist that will do the work with the insurance they accepted and did not have a referral for me and advised I find my own option and they would send the referral and the records of all the work prior to the final phase.

I waited 4 months for the appointment only to learn they no longer performed specific work referred for.

They didnt even have the courtesy or professionalism months prior to the appointment to contact me and I missed the funeral of my very close family member for the lack of communication and professionalism.

By far the most disappointing experience with a Dental Practioner I have ever encountered in my lifetime.

And my the emotional grief I experienced from my family member passing I had to skip funeral service for is abominable and horrific business practices.

Be cautious for you are only a dollar sign and do not matter to them.

I have experienced a huge amount of dental issues through the years. however, working with Advantage Dental in Clackamas Oregon and Dr. Thomas Houghton along with the entire staff, gave me my smile and confidence back. I feel they went above and beyond to make sure I was happy and pain free. I am so pleased with there kind and very professional care.
