Took me nearly 5 years before i could ever seek help again after the trauma inflicted after three sessions with this man. I was told we would not discuss my issues with my father (the sole reason i was seeking help) until i saw his nutritionist at least twice. When I expressed that I was in no financial posture to do this, he doubled down on his hard line. I was also paying out of pocket at the time. The third time I came to see him he texted me while I was on my way to appt and asked me how i was paying. I told him I had a personal check. He told me that was suspicious and he didn’t trust that i actually intended to pay. I offered to reschedule or use a Venmo type service and he again reiterated that this was an off thijg to offer, instilling in me his lack of trust of anything I said.

Let me give some background on the trust issue. In the sessions I was asked to talk about my family and their mental health, when I did this - i mentioned specific members of my family and what they suffered from. Either each member i mentioned, he responded with reasoning on why that wouldn't be true. e.g., i find it odd you are claiming your uncle has XYZ when people with XYZ cannot hold XYZ-OCCUPATION. I was also in an abusive relationship at the time and ad tried to gently let myself talk about it, he proceeded to praise my parter and allude that i was the one actually using my partner and most people would be lucky to have someone so loving.

I am still so upset that i was not allowed to talk about my father and how to repair our relationship. I was afraid i was going to lose him soon and it was important to me to get help for this. He eneded uo taking his own life abiut 6 mibths later and i think it was brazen and the ehight of professional irresponsibility and arrogance on Dr Kaiser’s part. I hope that no one else has to go through this, and perhaps he is helping others, after all he was referred to me by a friend.

But please know if you were looking for someone kind and gentle, this is may not be the person for you. I spiraled downward second guessing everything about myself, letting go of the morsels i had left that were keeping me going With regard to anything positive I thought about myself. The aftermath of these three sessions left me with Significant weight gain, complete loss of libido, severe depression, and even more than anxiety. I became a shell of myself. And I was already a Chelle at that point that I saw him, however I was not depressed, maybe situationally but just not completely depressed and helpless. I had a libido and I had hope for the future. Again this is so many years later and I actually just felt comfortable enough discussing it with my family, probably because I found a psychiatrist who is actually kind and helping me. But my family was so astonished by my experience with this man that it validated my feelings and so I thought that I would write this review as a warning to others who may heed my advice. if you’re looking for someone to whip you into shape and question everything you say and be extremely harsh where autonomy is held only by the psychiatrist, this might be your guy. If you were vulnerable and struggling and not comfortable sharing, if you are nervous or have a hard time expressing yourself or trying to find the words, STAY THE HECK AWAY.

some words of help, there are wonderful psychiatrist out there and you will find your perfect match someone who is there to help you. Sometimes you have to go through a few of them. Luckily I was able to find mine with the first psychiatrist I was able to visit after seeing Dr. kaiser. Granted it was five years later because that’s how long it took me to get over the trauma with him

dr. kaiser, if you read these I hope you take this review seriously so maybe you can learn to identify patients who are shy and timid, patients who are not alpha, but more subservient empathetic and meek and fragile… Please don’t do the same things to them that you did to me. It truly was a nightmare an absolute nightmare that I’m still working to get over
