The staff is very friendly and helpful. There are facilities to accommodate all fitness levels, which, being a senior myself, I appreciate. I’m impressed by the folks with disabilities who maximize their abilities at the Y. People are polite and courteous with each other. Just a great place to meet all sorts of good people and stay fit.

Outstanding clean and friendly. Three floors of activity and equipment in an historic building with a swimming pool, hot tub, pickle ball, baseball, racquetball, indoor running track and multiple weight and cardio equipment. Classes for pool, spin, yoga, etc. all included in their very affordable monthly plan. Free passes to bring family or friends. Never overly crowded, meticulously clean and very friendly helpful staff. Cool downtown vibe with tons of free parking lot right across the street. Drop in (no reservation needed) and check it out for yourself.

Very well maintained facility and equipment. Very good mix of programs and activities for all ages and physical makeup. Absolutely the best staff, very caring and helpful. Love your lounge where someone can sit for a minute and rest or watch the news. I think a small Bistro inside of that lounge would be a wonderful addition.

I have been a loyal member of the Fort Worth YMCA for nearly three years. I specifically chose the downtown location not only for its state-of-the-art equipment but also for its exceptional childcare services. The staff members are highly responsible and consistently demonstrate utmost respect towards my child. In particular, Miss Zo stands out as one of my daughter's favorite teachers. She goes above and beyond to ensure that my daughter feels included and well-cared for.I have full confidence in the caregiver's ability to provide a safe and nurturing environment for my child.

I have going here for 9 months since January and I have felt comfortable here. I'm homeless but they treat me like everyone else. They have programs for homeless like reduced pricing on membership. Everyone at the YMCA are awesome. Also if anyone is looking for work they have programs to help with that and they are currently in need of lifeguards. I recommend the Amon Carter YMCA anyone.

This YMCA location is very dedicated to the needs of individuals seeking the best possible lifestyle for themselves. In regards to healthy living, eating, exercise routine, childcare, building self esteem, keeping the youth engaged in participating in activities during school breaks such as the holidays throughout the school year, spring break & summer! It’s been a very important step in my personal development of a healthy life! Not only for my physical fitness but, my personal wellbeing & mentally awareness & knowing that my child is safe here when I’m having to work & leave her in the care of a professional in which I’m very comfortable with the idea & environment that’s providing care & meets her needs!

The programs for a senior citizen like me are such that we know people have put great thought Into them. It becomes a nice place for us to meet socially, which we also need. I love the Potluck lunches, and especially when they have speakers or people to demonstrate things.
