Unfortunately, I have not had a great experience here. I know there is a vet shortage in the area, and the office is busy- but I’ve taken my dog here three years in a row for regular check ups. The last two years, the only vet on staff was very unsympathetic. I have an older dog who is mostly blind and generally calm, but does get nervous at the vet. No soothing talks, just curt “oh you’re fine, get over here” kind of talk. At one point she took his rectal temp and he sat down on the thermometer, to which he started whining (ouch, buddy!!) and I tried to lift his hind end. The vet did not seem bothered, just annoyed that I was trying to help my dog - “he’s fine, just leave him alone.”
Unfortunately it’s experiences like these that make my dog so nervous at the vet. The front desk staff is friendly, professional, and courteous- but the vet they currently have is not an animal person at all. If I can, I will be going to another vet next time.

I arrived before they opened with my cat from the new ER in Medford with catheter and IV lines still attached. The ER only operates on weekends and Dr Lewis said to take him directly to Ashland Medical Hospital. Anyway, they took my Binx right in and set him up for excellent care. My cat is huge, with big paws, and very grumpy, so not easy to work with. I can’t thank them enough. Is it expensive? Of course, it’s round the clock care, but less than the ER in central point for a few nights. Veterinary clinics are very expensive to run.

I can hardly find words for the expert care and family treatment I feel when I take my pets to Dr Albrecht and her incredible staff! Each and every time we leave feeling seen and heard and cared for.

I can not recommend a vet more. Their staff went above and beyond on more than one occasion to help when my roommates and I were surprised with a litter of puppies. Their kindness, generosity and delicate care for our animals was more than I could have ever hoped for. If you are looking for a place to take your furry loved ones where their health and well-being is the number one priority, look no further.

So far, so good. I've taken my furry little companion here twice now, and the staff has been kind, professional and really organized. I don't feel like they overcharge here, and that they don't try to recommend procedures that are not necessary. I highly recommend this clinic.
