This is an amazing store. The amount of coral that is on display and for sale at this shop is the best I have ever seen! The owner is beyond helpful and goes out of his way to make sure he spends time with you teaching you how to care for the coral he sells. His staff is head and shoulders above the rest when it comes to knowledge and customer service. I have purchased fish, coral, both RO and reef saltwater, as well as copepods, and food for both my fish and my coral and I have been 100% satisfied with everything from this shop. Check these guys out even if you are from the metro area it is definately worth the trip to beautiful Edwardsville, IL to see this place. They also provide maintenance and set up.

They stayed open past close time to help me with my chiclids. The guy was wonderful and a great help. He rescued 2 fish I was having problems with, without a second thought and really knew what he was doing. Definitely recommend to anyone needing aquatic help

I absolutely LOVE Aqua-Nook Edwardsville! They saved my baby tank! They offered their aquarium fresh water and it literally turned my aquarium around that I can finally add fish! Their knowledge is amazing! Their prices are competitive! The store is quaint and a joy to browse both salt water and fresh fish! The customers were nice to talk to as well. Definitely my new -meet my needs- aquatic store! If you haven’t visited Aqua-Nook yet, have fish or not, it’s a great place to go and view the aquatic world! Be cautioned - you just might fall in love with their fish - you could start up your first fish home!!! Enjoy!!!

Absolutely love Aqua Nook. The store itself has a great selection of salt water and fresh water aquarium fish, coral, plants, etc. We have our salt water tank serviced every other week by Aqua Nook as well, which takes some of the stress out of owning and maintaining a tank on your own. I would highly recommend Aqua Nook for all your fresh water and salt water needs!

What a wonderful store! I can't believe I didn't know about this place sooner. Knowledgeable and friendly staff that had exactly what I was looking for. I will definitely be back!! I had just left a chain store with sad looking aquatic inhabitants and zero employees to assist me... I consulted the Google maps in hopes there was something better within a 20 min drive....turns out this gem was right down the road.
