We had such a great experience with Rachel! She recently took care of our 4-month-old Golden Doodle, Winnie, for a 2-week board and train session, and we couldn’t have been happier with how it went. From the get-go, Rachel made us feel super comfortable by sending regular updates on how Winnie was doing, along with pictures and videos. It was obvious that Winnie was not only learning but also having a blast. She even told us Winnie made a best friend during training!

Rachel clearly loves what she does, and it really showed in how she treated Winnie like her own. Winnie came back happy, tired, and had learned some fun new tricks! We could see a noticeable change in his behavior after just a short time with Rachel. My husband and I even joked that Winnie left as a puppy but came back as a little gentleman!

If you’re looking for a dog trainer who’s not only great at what she does but also genuinely loves dogs, Rachel is your person! We’ll definitely be back for boarding when we're out of town and training refresh sessions for Winnie!

We love Atlanta Dog Trainer for everything they offer. More importantly our dog (son) Max LOVES going to daycare and also staying overnight. He sits by the door and cries to go to daycare! He loves the dogs and also the amazing people there. The staff at Atlanta Dog Trainer are simply the best. We will never take Max anywhere but here! Thanks for always taking such great care of Max!! You can see in the pic he always has to say goodbye to his people there! That’s how much he loves it.

We have been boarding our 2 labs at Atlanta Dog Trainer for the last couple of years and have had a fantastic experience. Each individual we’ve interacted with has greeted us and our dogs with enthusiasm and professionalism. We know our dogs love it there based on their reaction upon pulling into the driveway. The play yard is huge and never once seemed over subscribed by pups, we have the option to treat our dogs to a swim (lab life), and they always come back exhausted after a fun weekend. The pre check out bath has been a great touch, too! We had tried a handful of other boarding locations, but Atlanta Dog Trainer has been the best for us.

Shelby has been an incredible asset for our family and our new puppy. We were struggling with finding the best way to meet his needs and get him more comfortable in our home. Within one visit, Shelby had educated us, gained Cliff’s trust, and taught him so much. She has an immense depth of knowledge about dogs and their relationships with families. My experience with Atlanta Dog Trainer has been amazing. My pomsky had terrible reactivity when on leash and needed basic training as well. After working with Tracey and Rachel for 2 weeks doing board and train, Marley was doing better. Being someone who likes frequent updates, I was more than satisfied with the level of communication. I would receive multiple updates daily on his training with pictures and videos demonstrating how he was doing and how to continue that training at home. Tracey was great at the go home session in her explanations and methods to teach me how to continue his work and also with checking in after the 2 weeks to make sure everything was going well. Marley always looked like he was having a blast and came home happy and healthy!! He goes to daycare at ADT every day of the week and has a a great time.

Highly recommend Atlanta Dog Trainer for all your boarding, daycare, and training needs! I have a sweet but psycho Dutch Shepherd and was a little hesitant sending her for the 2 week board & train. The owner, Susie, was so kind and accommodating. Once I met Shelby, the trainer, I knew my pup would be in great hands. She was friendly, informative, and communicative. The entire staff is super nice and made this such a wonderful experience. We took our puppy to the Board and Train program while we were on vacation. We couldn’t have picked a better place for him to stay while we were gone. Shelby was great with Frankie and texted us updates so we could see how happy he was and the progress he was making with his training. We could tell once we picked him up that he had so much fun with the staff and other dogs. We will definitely bring him back for any future boarding or training needs. Highly recommend!
