AMAZING HEARTS OF PEOPLE! ❤️❤️ I love the warmth and kindness of everyone who worked here. I had my first ultrasound, and it was an emotional experience being able to see my little angel. You pull up to Ava Health and it doesn’t look like much. But then you walk in to such a clean, beautiful and welcoming place with kind and professional staff who truly seem to care about your well-being. This is such an incredible resource for women in their early stages of pregnancy, with a very open and non-judgemental approach to helping expecting moms through the decisions and challenges related to pregnancy. I can’t recommend Ava Health highly enough. Thank you for being their for the women of Portland!

Great place. I went there to get a 6 week ultrasound and everyone was very kind and making sure that I was comfortable. They provided lots of useful information. I highly recommend this place.

They had told me over the phone that they could help me with an ultrasound, but about 45 minutes in I mentioned that I had called to set up prenatal care but they wouldn’t give me an ultrasound until 8 weeks and they discharged me stating that I had to go through my provider as they’d offer better care. I spent the rest of the day in the ER waiting for 7.5 hours for an ultrasound to make sure the pregnancy was intrauterine, something they could have easily checked there. If you want prenatal care that will care for you regardless of your insurance, I’d recommend Planned Parenthood as they actually valued my health as a mother. The person I spoke with here was kind, and they were kind to my children I had to bring in with me, but they didn’t have any helpful resources to offer besides virtual parenting classes and prayer. I had explained that I have two children, I’ve taken developmental psychology classes so I’m not concerned about parenting- I’m concerned about carrying a pregnancy to term. I don’t think they knew what to do with me, and when they realized they’d mistakenly told me I could get an ultrasound I felt rushed out quickly and like the person who was going to give the ultrasound was annoyed. I’m really disappointed as I am trying to be as open minded as possible, but intent doesn’t matter as much as impact and the impact of visiting this place actually left me feeling more alone, frustrated and anxious about carrying my pregnancy to term.

Overall great experience! Had a pregnancy confirmation and ultrasound done at 6 weeks. Very Godly staff. Beautiful and cozy atmosphere.
