Estuvimos dos noches en este hotel de Hana y es perfecto para descansar y desconectar del mundo, bien ambiente y tranquilo. Lo mejor son las vistas desde la terraza, y poder desayunar aqui todas las mañanas. Las habitaciones estan bien equipadas con lo básico para estar tranquilo, jacuzzi en la terraza y buen desayuno con frutas y bollos. Increibles vistas del amanecer. El pueblo es agradable y el recorrido para llegar alli increible.

En este lugar sientes que estas inmerso en la naturaleza, es muy tranquilo, no hay sonido más que naturaleza, en la noche sólo sientes el sonido del mar. Esta en el borde de una playa de roca volcánica, para caminar en lo personal no para bañarse. Al llegar no me recibió nadie sólo unas notas con las instrucciones, lo encontré raro pero no me molestó. Mi mayor temor era por los insectos o arañas que me podría encontrar, pero todo dentro de la pieza estaba muy limpio. Habían 3 lagartijas, no las saquen ni maten por ningún motivo, ellas ayudan a no tener insectos indeseables dentro de la pieza. Tienes una cocina equipara con lo básico, pero puedes pedir si necesitas más cosas, el dueño vive en el mismo recinto, procurar botar bien la basura para no tener hormigas dentro. Dan desayuno americano. Hay que estar muy atento para encontrar a entrada. Muy buen lugar para pasar algunas noches, con 3 para mi estuvo suficiente.

We stayed one night in Hana, as I knew the road would be a challenge for me (motion sickness) and I was so glad we did. We had fun exploring the small town (although for a small town we were impressed that there were two grocery stores and at least two Thai restaurants!) and checking out the small beach. The location of Bamboo Inn was perfect, and the view was outstanding. We loved sitting on the lanai and listening to the waves. We had the Honu suite and it was charming-very clean and nicely appointed. We did not have an issue with the outdoor shower for our suite and used it just fine, however it might be nice to provide robes to go back and forth from the shower to the room and I'd like it if the shower had a latch on the shower door just in case it got bumped open. The pastries and fruit in the morning were thoughtful and delicious and we loved that creamer was provided in the fridge as we had forgotten to pick some up at the store. A perfect night in Hana!

We just got back from a 2 night stay in the Nai'a suite and we can't wait to go back! This was the perfect stay for my husband, toddler, and I. The king bed nicely fit all of us and was very comfy. My toddler slept almost 13 hrs the first night! It was so nice having two floors as our toddler could sleep peacefully while my husband and I could relax downstairs. The tub outside was so nice especially when it rained in the morning. All 3 of us could fit comfortably in the tub. The only thing is the jets don't work. But that didn't stop us from enjoying it. The kitchen has a fridge and there's a small oven with a stove top. I wish there was a microwave but we made due with the stove top. There were pots and pans in addition to dishes and cutlery. We made use of almost everything.

John is a very sweet older gentleman that was around to answer questions and help us with our door key. He provides a simple breakfast of warmed croissants, muffins, and a couple of slices of papaya which for some may not seem like much but as a busy mama, having someone provide breakfast tasted like vacation.

My toddler loved the dogs on property. The neighbor has a dog named Moxie who followed us down to the beach and back! It was almost like she was our dog!

I'm born and raised on Maui so I was totally used to the few critters that would come and go. Hana is a tropical rainforest right next to the beach so for anyone complaining, you must understand it come with the territory. We overall had no issues and would recommend this place to anyone seeking a retreat!

Stay here if you want to get verbally abused by the owner. I felt as if I was not a paying customer but rather an errant schoolboy who deserved a good “schooling,” to use the owner’s actual term. Other than that rooms are fine if you’re crashing in Hana for a night; expect to overpay for a Motel 6-equivalent nonetheless.

What a wonderful place to stay. John was a warm and welcoming host who brought us warm croissants and fresh fruit in the morning and had lots of good ideas about Hana to share. The view from the balcony is fantastic and the area one of our favorite places on Hawaii! We can only recommend!

We had the “Iwa Suite” overseeing the beach. (The other suite with outdoor shower is quite exposed, lol, couldn’t do it). Quiet quaint place. No TV in room. Was really relaxing to be in a quiet neighborhood. We spent just 2 nights here in Hana before moving on to another location. John is a really sweet and kind owner / host. He has recommendations where to visit or to eat if you’re interested. Recommend!

Cutest little inn in Hana that welcomed us with fresh flowers. John was very helpful and accommodating when I was not at the inn when he prepares breakfast baskets. I forgot to take pictures of the actual room, but it looks exactly like website. Room was super clean with a beautiful view from the Honu Suite. Thank you again!
