My dog has only been going to barking hound for a little over a week but I can't tell you how kind and helpful the staff has been to him. He has terrible separation anxiety so I was super nervous to take him regularly, but the staff went above and beyond to make him comfortable. Every time we walk in, they know exactly who he is and greet him by name. I have never, ever taken him somewhere that he is excited to go to without me - but for the first time he was jumping at the opportunity to go to daycare trying to get the door open. The first few days I would call to check to see how he was doing, if I needed to take him home because the first few days he didn't like to play or leave his kennel. Well I saw on the webcams that the handler would take him out to the play yard for a few minutes, just him, which I could tell made him a lot more comfortable during the transition. They are so communicative and willing to answer any questions you have and they truly do treat every dog like their own. I have boarded at countless places and I can easily say this is the very first one that my dog WANTS to go to instead of having to (which is a big deal for us!!!). I am SO glad we found Barking Hound and I recommend it to anyone who's nervous about leaving their baby! Thank you to the whole Barking Hound staff!

BHV Sandy Springs is an awesome facility to bring your dog to. My dog has been a regular for over a year now, and all of the staff have gone above & beyond to make him feel loved & cared for whenever he is there. They treat him like one of their own dogs, and are always professional & patient with him. I can’t say enough about the staff as a whole, they do an amazing job

If I could give Barking Hound Village ten stars, I would. It's been eight months since my fur baby Pink has been going BHV for daycare. She also gets groomed and boards. BHV staff is simply amazing and always welcomes you with warm smiles. My fur baby is always excited on the ride there. She lights up and runs in the door to the staff. I love that for her. Having a reliable daycare you can trust your animals with is so extremely important. Before boarding here, she got hurt really bad at another daycare. And it was costly. Honestly, I was afraid to take her to another daycare after that. Barking Hound Village staff has not only heard my concerns but reassured me with just how well she is taken care of each visit. They truly do care about your babies. I can't thank the warm-hearted staff enough. The best part of it all is that you feel like you're dropping your kids off to your family. I promise you will not be disappointed with this company. Thank you, Barking Hound Village.

I've taken my dog to BHV-Sandy Springs for a year now. He has a great time. He's gone for day-care and also boarded. I appreciate getting the photos and knowing that my dog has been well taken care of. He loves their peanut butter pads, too! The play yard is not overcrowded and the dogs are separated by size, which I appreciate because bigger dogs can intimidate my dog. Plus there is someone in the room at all times to make sure no dog is being picked on. Everyone at BHV is professional and pleasant. I highly recommend!

After reading the reviews, I decided to take my dog here. Initially, I was hesitant because the front desk staff kept mentioning they were short-staffed—which wasn’t exactly reassuring. When I asked for a tour, I noticed the kennels were filthy, though the staff assured me they were trained in handling dogs.

Against my better judgment (mostly because I was exhausted after a 12-hour shift), I decided to leave my puppy there. After heading home, showering, and checking the puppy cam, I noticed something odd—there were no dogs in either play area. I kept checking at 30-minute intervals, but still, no dogs. After taking an hour-long nap, I checked again and saw only one dog in the small play area with no staff present. When I checked one last time, there were finally two dogs, but the staff member was outside—completely absent from the area.

That was enough for me. I immediately went to pick up my dog. I would not recommend this place at all—just take your dog to Puppy Haven, they’re the best.

BHV Sandy Springs has been amazing for my pup! He has been going to daycare since soon after they opened and I can't say enough great things about our experience. I get pictures every time he is there and I love being able to check in on him via the webcams to see what kind of day he is having! The staff consistently goes above and beyond to ensure the experience is great and takes the time to give "tips and tricks" that might be helpful! Highly recommend giving BHV a try. You won't be disappointed!

Our golden retriever Homer LOVES playing with other dogs and spending time at Barking Hound Village Sandy Springs. They have a webcam on their site that allows you to observe your dog and laugh as you watch them frolic around and do doggo things. The staff who look after the dogs clearly care and are meticulous about keeping the space clean and under control. Check it out!
