I’ve boarded at Bethpage Equestrian Center for the last 14 years and have worked there for 6 years. I can’t imagine keeping my horse anywhere else. The facility has everything a horse owner could want. 2 outdoor arenas, a large newly renovated indoor arena with fans, led lighting and a heated viewing room. We also have a round pen and hot walker. The horses enjoy all day turnout. For our riders that like to go out on trail we have direct access to a beautiful trail system. We have a large climate controlled office and heated, clean bathrooms. The horses are very well taken care of, grained twice a day and quality hay 3 times a day. The stalls are cleaned daily and the grounds well maintained. The owner is constantly making improvements and takes the care of all our horses very seriously. The staff is exceptionally knowledgeable and keeps a close eye on all our animals. I have found all our boarders to be wonderful. They are friendly, kind and caring, I always love being there, it’s my home away from home. Come check it out.

I have been riding at Bethpage Equestrian Center since around 2019/2020, and I have so many positive things to share! All the boarders, trainers, trail guides and managers unite as family, creating friendships and memories to last a lifetime. Each and every horse here at Bethpage has a personality for you to explore, providing learning experiences for riders of all levels, beginner through advanced. I booked a surprise private Trail Ride for my boyfriends birthday and OMG, it was a blast! We opted to pay more to have it just us two or you could be placed in a group of five horses total with a guide. THANK YOU so much to Brooke, our guide who made this one hour ride enjoyable. She made sure we felt comfortable on our beautiful horses and chatted with us along the way. The trail felt peaceful and well maintained.

This is an experience we will never forget and we will for sure be back! Thank you Bethpage Equestrian Center and Brooke.

amazing. Came here for my 19th birthday and never ridden a horse before. All of the horses look so healthy the place is so clean and the trail is so big and pretty. even though I never rode, the instructors really prepared me and the horses were so relaxed. if you go ask for alyssa!!

I had tried booking with many different equestrian places but from the jump over the phone these people were absolutely accommodating and lovely! They treated my girls first time on a horse with care and the guide who we didn’t get the name of was young and had a lot of energy that put us at ease and answered all of our questions and gave great history on the place and even the horses! They treat everyone with respect and care and gave us a great trail ride! The owner even greeted us at the end and sent us off with great vibes we will definitely be back! I've been coming to this amazing equestrian center and riding here regularly for years, and it truly is my happy place. The horses are not only beautiful but also extremely healthy and well cared for, thanks to the knowledgeable and dedicated owner, management and staff. They treat both the horses and the riders like family, and I've always felt warmly welcomed whenever I am here.

The facilities are excellent, with a beautiful, huge indoor riding ring and two fantastic outdoor rings, making it the perfect place to ride year-round. The trails are absolutely stunning, and there's nothing quite like riding through the scenic landscapes here.

On top of all that, they have so many adorable farm animals that are so well cared for and bring a special charm to the whole experience. If you're looking for a place to ride, relax, and feel like part of a family, I can't recommend this place highly enough!

Riding experiences were hit or miss, depending on which instructor or guide you were assigned. Some lacked patience, making lessons feel more stressful than enjoyable. And while trail rides were advertised as scenic and peaceful, they often felt rushed and unorganized.

It saddens me to write this review but the service I have been exposed to for the last two weeks has just been disappointing.
Over the summer of 2024, I enrolled my daughter into their riding lessons due to their raving reviews and location to our home. My sister use to ride at Jamaica Bay for years but i wanted to give Bethpage a shot. My daughter was paired with Susan for classes and she has been great- no complaints. Only complaint is due to the instructor being in school my daughter was not able to receive classes as consistently as I would have liked. The process for booking sessions- very inconvenient to the person who likes to have a set schedule.
Ok so fast forward, my daughter recently turned 6 and wanted to enroll her into the Winter camp in Feb. Filled out the application and went to turn in my application and payment in person as it states. I paid with credit card to the front desk rep and was on my way. Later that evening if not next day, someone called and apologized for THEIR mistake of taking my card for payment because it was CASH only (stated on the application but an oversight on my behalf). I told her I will come towards the end of December or before the application deadline to hand the cash. However, our schedule recently took a change and we will be out of the country. I called about two weeks ago and informed them about this and asked for a refund on my card (as was told will be done anyways) and will have to withdraw my daughter from the camp. Disappointing enough I have spoken to three women, 1 unknown the other Sam who informed me a supervisor will contact me.
Yesterday I got a call from Brooke (not the supervisor) who was very hostile and rude. Saying the application was signed, "if i read it" "i signed it" "now that you are going on vacation". JUST straight unprofessional. Like if they didn't take my credit card in the first place- which they should have informed me as i hand it over- CASH ONLY. (so technically, my child did not successfully enroll because my payment method is "invalid"-no?). I firmly informed her, I have been getting the same message of a supervisor will give me a call and she responded "if you let me get off the phone"-like if anyone is keeping her there?- just a customer trying to correctly inform her of the situation at bay and the solutions we can take to resolve it.

Just sketchy, if i spoke with someone who was well informed or maybe a supervisor , i think this matter could have been dealt with very easily and professionally with all parties content. Even if a refund was not possible, a resolution where the funds can be used for a package vs the camp.

Now, I just want a refund. I filed a claim with my CC company and still waiting for BEQ's supervisor to return my call.

It's unfortunate I am writing this message as I really saw something long-term here for my daughter.
