Dr Ervin and his team were wonderful. They genuinely cared about Walter and making sure he was comfortable. They gave me options for a treatment plan and I felt supported in whatever decision I chose. Thankfully, Walter is on the mend! I hope we don’t have to use their services in the future but i would highly recommend them to anyone that does.

Impressed with their kind handling of my behavioral “problem child”. I wasn’t sure what to expect after seeing the reviews out there for this business. They completely exceeded my expectations while caring for my behavioral dog. I brought in my reactive pit bull mix, Bhodi, who can be intimidating and has history of aggression when injured. He was vomiting and had symptoms of a bowel blockage. There was little to no wait because of his condition and I was met at the car with a technician who seemed understand behavioral dogs. She read his body language and adjusted his care accordingly, and WITHOUT judgement. I worry anytime we visit the vet, concerned with how the provider will handle my dog due to his unique personality. With careful but quick planning and consideration they took charge and I felt like I could breath as he was in good hands. They were compassionate and carefully handled the (very necessary) muzzling process so that Bhodi felt as safe and comfortable as possible. It was obvious that the technicians and doctor truly cared to help my dog get better. I could tell they tried to keep my cost down as much as possible, consulting with me about all their treatment decisions before acting. They communicated clearly and did not get sick of my repetitive questions and worries.

Dr. Ervin & Laura are amazing people!!! (Lees Summit, MO only, don’t ever go to the Kansas location!) I trusted them when my baby was in critical condition & I was hopeful, because of them, that she would not die while we were there.

Took our dog on a Saturday night around 9pm with lethargy and drooling and shaking.They took one X-ray and the vet talked to us for less than two minutes. They said he had mild gastroenteritis and to give him a bland diet. Charged us over $300 dollars. Our dog died less than 12 hours later. He was 4 years old. Don't take your pet here!

We had to rush our dog to Blue Pearl last week near midnight when he had an episode & collapsed. The intake people were calm & efficient & Dr Evans was kind & explained what he had done. He recommended a couple of things for followup & we were able to leave with our dog that night. The charge was reasonable. Sadly our pup passed away 2 days later but our vet had Dr Evans’ records from that visit which helped us make the decision to let him go peacefully. It is comforting to know Blue Pearl is available overnight for animal emergencies.

We had to rush our dog to Blue Pearl late at night after he suffered a serious head and eye injury from a dog bite. The staff acted quickly, taking him in immediately and stabilizing him. Unfortunately, he had to have his eye removed, but the vets thoroughly explained everything to us with compassion and care. Throughout the entire process, we felt reassured that our beloved pet was in good hands. Their professionalism, kindness, and dedication made a difficult situation a little easier. We are incredibly grateful for the amazing care they provided!

We brought our husky into blue pearl because she fell off our bed and was in a great amount of pain. The entire staff was exceptional! It was discovered that she had shattered her femur and most likely had bone cancer. We could have removed her leg to keep her a little while longer, but with being almost 13 years old it wouldn't have been in the best interest of our girl so we unfortunately had to let her go. But through such a tragic turn of events I can't say enough good things about how all the staff were so Compassionate and caring throughout the entire process, even getting her ashes back and a very unexpected surprise her paw print, it meant so much to us. Yes, blue pearl is expensive, but if u can't afford to take your pet to the hospital when an emergency happens, you probably shouldn't have a pet. We were willing to pay whatever if it was in the best interest of our girl, but unfortunately, it would have been selfish of us to keep her here with us. We did contact two other vets who we trusted with our life, and they were in agreement with the vets diagnosis. Thank u, blue pearl, for taking care of our girl and us during such a traumatic event! U all rock! Thanks again!

A few days before Christmas our sweet boy Captain was having trouble breathing so my husband took him in. We called and they immediately took him back. He sadly passed away while there from suspected heart failure. Today I received a card in the mail with his paw prints. You don’t know how much that means to us. This was the first pet that we’ve ever lost and we are heartbroken. Sitting here sobbing because it was unexpected. Thank you 🤍
