We had the best experience working with the team at Bridgetown Baby. Our postpartum doulas, Katherine and Leonie, were both so helpful and attentive to our needs while we navigated the newborn months as first time parents. And Melissa's been a massive help when it comes to lactation support - feedings have gotten to be so much easier with her tailored guidance.

We had twice weekly postpartum night support for the first 6 weeks and counted the days until each visit. Beyond letting us get some much needed sleep and helping with a build up of house chores, they were there to answer all of our questions and reassure us along the way. Both are so warm and thoughtful, and clearly love what they do. It was such a relief knowing that our baby was being so well cared for while we got some rest.

Working with Bridgetown was easily the best investment we've made. Can't recommend them enough!

The postpartum doula care that we have received from Bridgetown Baby has been such an enormous help, I cannot recommend this special community enough. Leonie and Erica have worked with us for postpartum care and are both exceptionally helpful, friendly and have done so much to support our family. Working with Adrienne for lactation visits has also been invaluable. She's incredibly knowledgable, such a good communicator, and has been such a source of positivity and support on that journey. Everyone clearly loves what they do and they bring a lot of joy into the house.

My family had the privilege of working with Brita Johnson and Katherine Geis as our night doulas, and Katrina Rogers as our lactation consultant. We could not have asked for a more thoughtful, caring, responsive, and sweet team. When I had to be induced early, the Bridgetown Baby team immediately accommodated our daughter’s early arrival, rearranging the schedule to ensure we had the support we needed as soon as we were home from the hospital.

We had Brita and Katherine multiple times per week for the first four months, and my husband and I both agree that this made all the difference in our transition to parenthood. Their expertise, calm presence, and unwavering support helped us navigate the ups and downs of those early days, and I especially appreciated how they helped me process all the emotions that come with being a new mom. Their visits were always a highlight of our week, and we truly can’t imagine going through that time without them.

We also feel incredibly lucky to have had Katrina as our lactation consultant. I could always reach out to her with any questions, worries, or wins, and she was so supportive, encouraging, and quick to offer practical advice. Her guidance has helped me feel confident and empowered in my breastfeeding journey—however long it lasts!

To put it simply, Bridgetown Baby is the best. These women truly are part of our family’s village. Thank you, thank you.

I had a rough birth and was in a very emotional space when I reached out to Bridgetown and spoke with Erica. She was so kind and worked with the owner Merriah on my budget. I think we had 5 doulas over the time we worked together and they were all wonderful. Took great care of my son during the night so I could rest, and always made sure to help around be house and offer emotional support to me. I can’t recommend Bridgetown Babies enough!

Highly recommend Bridgetown Baby. I was first introduced to the free weekly virtual nurturing circle ,which was hosted by Brita, to meet other moms and have a safe space to discuss anything and everything about being parents and the joys and challenges we face during these early years. This saved me during postpartum, gave me something to look forward to and the group helped me through some hard feelings and challenges.

The nurturing circle is the best intro to Bridgetown Baby, and Brita has a wealth of knowledge to share and can direct to what kind of help/services you may need from Bridgetown.

Being far away from family and community, the nurturing circle reminds me there is a village, we just need to be open to find it.
