Un garito de de mala muerte con encanto. Un buen sitio para comer y pasar el rato, además de un sitio típico de Luisiana. El Poboy de gambas riquísimo y tenían muchas opciones a muy buen precio. El camarero súper simpático y agradable.

I ordered the Cuban Sandwich and my friend ordered the Shrimp and Chicken Po Boys. The food was made to order and was fresh, delicious and affordable. The actual pub is small and dark and although the bartender was friendly, the person who brought out our food was not. However. I would definitely eat there again. I also had no problem with them accepting my Groupon voucher.

Smelled a bit funky and smoky inside, but grab a drink and you won't think about it 😉

Stopped by to grab something quick to go. Bartender was really nice and friendly. Food came out fast. Catfit po'boy was tasty, fried Oysters were fresh. My belly was happy!

Affordable too and this seems to be really popular among locals so that's a good sign.

The Po Boy here was unbelievable. Like one of the best I've had. Highly recommend coming here just for that.

Everything else was just kinda average. They were out of gumbo so can't judge on that but the chicken and boudain was kinda blah. Fun local dive bar though.

We recently visited this establishment during Mardi Gras with friends from California, and overall, it was a memorable experience. The drink prices were fantastic, and the food was bursting with flavor, truly leaving a lasting impression on our taste buds.

However, we did encounter a few hiccups during our visit. There was a female staff member off the clock who made her presence felt in a less-than-pleasant way. She was quite vocal about her frustrations regarding other customers not cleaning up after themselves, which left us questioning the tipping system. After all, if patrons are expected to handle everything, what role does the staff play? It wasn't even overly-busy.

Additionally, her loud comments about the music choices created an uncomfortable atmosphere. Even if the selections were mainstream, her judgmental remarks echoed throughout the bar, making it hard to enjoy our time. While we understand that the festive spirit of Mardi Gras can lead to some indulgence, her behavior dampened our experience and made our party of six consider leaving sooner than we would have liked.

In summary, the amazing food and unbeatable prices are definitely highlights of this place, and it’s a shame that we couldn’t stay longer to truly savor our time there without distractions. A little more attention to the atmosphere could make this place an even greater gem in the heart of New Orleans!

Stopped in here while waiting to leave for our flight since our hotel checkout was 11am and we were done walking about and spending most of our money before 2pm with a flight at 7pm. Food was DELICIOUS, we got a sampler with onion rings (instead of jalapeño poppers), boudin balls, and BBQ wings as well as a BBQ Pork Poboy and my fiancé got a drink. The bartender was so kind - oftentimes when I've gone to a bar or pub, staff (especially bartenders) have seemed judgmental or rude since I don't drink even when I order food - this one was amazing. The ambiance was dark and the bar was small, but not in a bad way. Really homey and the customers were all friendly too.
Definitely seems like a hometown bar you'd frequent!! Will definitely visit again next time we are in Nola.

I've been in plenty of dive bars before. But this one had an unforgivable smell to it. If you sit down and have a drink or two, you no longer notice it. Price is reasonable and the staff is polite. But the food is meh. I got a shrimp poboy. It was extra dry and extra salty. I ate half. Because I was desperately hungry. The rest went to the homeless.
