Camp Mimi is AWESOME! For the past 6 years we have taken our dogs to Camp Mimi for both boarding and day camp. The large nature areas where our dogs get to socialize and the opportunity to swim in the bone shaped pool are two of our favorite reasons for going to Camp Mimi. Our dogs are usually asleep in minutes on our car ride home after having a great day of running and swimming at camp. When we travel and have to board our dogs, we really appreciate the daily posted pictures of our dogs having fun at camp. We highly recommend Camp Mimi for boarding and day camp.

My dog, Carly, loves to stay at Camp Mimi! When we drop her off, she is excited to get out and play; when we pick her up, she is happy and worn out. We have been using Camp Mimi for over a year now (boarding frequently), and have gotten used to the routine that Mimi has set. As other reviewers have pointed out, Mimi runs a very tight ship and is not as personable as other small business owners. I like that she is very clear on boarding requirements, costs and contract services. Having clear expectations is an excellent approach for handling dogs, as they don't like "gray areas," indecision and weak leadership. In this structured environment, my border collie mix loves to play and wrestle, incite a chase, and swim in the pool. I am confident that Mimi and her staff manage all of the dogs diligently and consistently. Camp Mimi provides an open play area that encourages appropriate dog socialization, exercise and care. This may not be suitable for all dogs - or owners - but for my Carly, it is a great vacation and excellent doggie daycare.

We stopped by for a tour and to see the set up,which is very nice. Meeting Bill and Sylvia, (the owners) was great! Love the dog pool and all the different spacious areas. We met the groomer and she met our dog so we could describe to her how we wanted him groomed. This place is all about the dogs, a great property with owners onsite and fully invested. We look forward to bringing our Boykin spaniel to this pet resort soon.

We love taking our fur baby to Camp Mimi, and he loves it too!! I love that the staff are always so friendly and know my dog even before he gets out of the car! It also is great to know he spends the days roaming and playing outside on their beautiful facility at Camp Mimi instead of being stuck inside. I also love that the owners live on-site, so someone is always there in case the animals need them, as opposed to some boarding facilities. Also, love getting daily photos of my baby while away so I can know he’s happy and having fun!!

We have been taking our boxer/ beagle mix to Mimi's for a year and he LOVES IT!!! We live in a cluster home with no yard so our Jake is only off-leash when he is at Mimi's. We have tried the dog park but our pup was attacked by another dog there because of a careless owner. Upon reading some of the recent reviews, it is clear that some owners who have chosen Mimi's do not understand the meaning of contract. Not only do you sign a contract before you leave your pet but Mimi takes the time to read it and go over it with every client.
Being a business owner myself I appreciate the specific rules at Mimi's. We know our pet is being well cared for and safe while there. Although Mimi's is "just a pet resort" does not mean that her business can afford to have people come and go as they please without paying for the services they have committed to. The contract is specific about boarding and payment for last minute changes in plans. When Mimi's reserves a spot for your pet that you end up not using, it is too late to fill that spot when you cancel long term plans at the last minute. Mimi loves her pups but she is also running a business. This is her livelihood not just a hobby.

How did you know your dog has had a great time at daycare and/or boarding? They are excited to see you then pass out once they get home! My dogs have always had an amazing time at Camp Mimi! I love seeing the pictures of them playing on FB. Mimi and staff truly care about each animal! I highly recommend them for your pet care.

This place is exceptional in what they do. Very communicative, affordable, organized and honest. If you have to board your furbaby, THIS is the place to do it. If I could give ten stars, I would. A top-notch facility.
