I recently boarded my pup at camp run a mutt dunwoody and I couldn’t be more grateful for their care. Shortly after I dropped him off, he injured his nose on one of their gates. Kelly was amazing—she kept me updated with texts and pictures, letting me know how he was doing. They showed him so much TLC and even taped up the gate to prevent it from happening again. I completely understand that accidents happen, and my dog is quite the curious one, so it could have happened at home too. When I picked him up a few days later, he was happy and healthy—his usual smiley self! I truly appreciate how they went above and beyond to ensure my pup was well cared for. Thank you for taking such great care of my baby!

My Loretta pup has separation anxiety when away from me, so when I needed to leave town without her for a week we sent her to Camp! I was specifically looking for a cage free experience and this was perfect. Campers get to play with the daycare dogs all day, and at bedtime they stay in a big room with lots of beds and some human companions to chaperone and snuggle. There are Mutt Cams to watch the action during the day.
We did an overnight first to get her used to it, and also daycare once in a while. She did great for the week and loves to go back for daycare too. They have several play yards and monitor to see if anyone needs to be moved to a different group for play styles, etc. Their hours are super convenient and no reservations required (after passing the initial evaluation), so we can do an impromptu drop off when needed. Yes, it may be a little pricier than some other facilities, but this is really worth the extra few $$. We owe it to our fur kids to give them the best. ❤️

We tried this place for the first time today. The service was fine, but I was dismayed by their deceptive business practices. We scheduled both our dogs for a package that included bath, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and anal gland expression. Their website lists the price for this package as $40-45 for a medium dog and $55+ for x-large dogs. This was confirmed when I made the appt online.

When we picked up the dogs, we were charged $155. When I asked why we were charged so much, I was told that we were charged for a lower package that only includes a bath and everything else was charged as "extra". When I complained, I was told "sorry, it was the manager's decision".

This is unacceptable and we won't be returning. We're active members of the dog community in Dunwoody, and I will be telling my neighbors and dog park friends about this experience as well.

Update: what a tone deaf response from owner, they either didn't read my comments or simply don't care.

My dogs have been going to CRAM since they opened. They have been amazing to our dogs. I don’t know what I would do without Dawn and her staff. I’m an attorney in Dunwoody, and they care for one of my dogs while I’m working. He loves it there! And his 2 cousins go there too! When we had an unexpected death in our family, CRAM stepped up and helped us manage the 4 dogs involved - I cannot thank them enough. I love that they have an indoor and outdoor area. So my dog gets outside playtime and inside rest time. I would give them 100 stars if I could! Thank you so much! Eileen

Nala LOVES Camp Run-A-Mutt! She always comes home happy, healthy, and most importantly, TIRED. Having a high energy dog who needs lots of socialization can be a challenge behaviorally, but having CRAM so close to us has been a lifesaver! The staff is always very kind and attentive and take time to get to know each dog, and update you on how they do while at camp. Would highly recommend!

I’d leave zero stars if I could. I looked past many moments of them being so unorganized as a company (booking my dog for grooming only to be told it’s actually the groomer’s off day when we show up, being charged for temperament test when I was told it was free, not being able to find my dog’s account, etc). My last straw with them was yesterday. I will be telling everyone I know to avoid this place at all costs! In June, our dog was involved in an incident while at daycare and had to be taken to the emergency vet. He is ok, but at the time, the manager, Maria, admitted total fault and negligence for this situation. I had a meeting with her and she assured me they would be extra diligent when watching the dogs and would be crediting our account for the amount of the emergency vet bill. Now 2 months later, we decide to call for a boarding reservation. Our account has suddenly been put on hold and they have no record of any credit ever given to us I speak with both the OWNER and manager again. I am told that the manager misspoke, they will not be giving us the credit that was promised 2 MONTHS AGO! As the owner said, “dogs will be dogs.” And they will consider a partial credit when I provide evidence that the event was their fault We established they were at fault at the time of the event!! And why am I being asked for evidence now? They have camera systems they could easily access to see the footage from this day. Even with waivers signed, we were promised something as clients, and they opted to not follow through with it. We were already on the fence about our boys returning to their facility, but we will staying FAR away and have cancelled all future reservations. I would not feel comfortable leaving my worst enemy’s dog under their care.

In response to the owner’s comment here, we provided them with the vet bill and photos in June. The manager actually made copies of everything during the meeting.

We have a two year old Rough Collie. We have attended Camp Run-A-Mutt (Dunwoody) daycare as well as their boarding facilities for up to a week. We had some not so nice experiences at local dog parks and I was concerned that our sweet tempered dog would have a problem in a large group of dogs. She LOVES going to Camp Run-A-Mutt! I can recommend sending your dog here for play dates or boarding.

I highly recommend Camp Run A Mutt in Dunwoody for your pet!
My black lab had been coming to this location since he was old enough to attend. All of the employees from management to front desk and dog handlers are professional and take care of the dogs as if they were their own. Dogs are screened carefully and recommendations made for behavior improvement. Maria takes this area very seriously and I appreciate that. In particular the entire staff has really worked with me on some training that my dog needed. I also have loved working with Robin of Good Choice Dog Training through the Camp. Give Run A Mutt a try!!
