I wish I had positive feedback about Dawn and her training. My coworker recommended her and spoke so highly of her work and what she did for their family dog. Dawn worked me in quickly to get my dog started on the training he needed. During our first meeting I expressed what I was looking for from Marshall. These things were basic commands, socialization with cats and behaving in his crate. She assured me that Marshall would be able to do these things. I had high hopes about the training that she told me about in our initial meeting. She had him for 5 weeks and it wasn't until he came home that she expressed that he would have to come back for more training. That would have been nice to know prior to him coming home. He was home for a week and displayed reactive behavior that he had not expressed before. He went back a week later due to this. The original plan was for him to go back for a minimum of 4 weeks with a visit at that point. I was okay with Marshall staying as long as he needed, all that I asked was for a visit with him especially since Dawn emphasized the importance of him having a visit with me. When the time came for planning visits I kept getting pushed off and canceled on. I had to be firm and stand my ground when we were 9 weeks in and I had no visit with him. This is a problem all on its own when he has separation anxiety from me and to me it felt like she was keeping my dog from me. I finally got him home after 10 long weeks of missing my boy and getting to love him. We had a few good first days but after that he showed how little training she did with him. My dog does not listen to basic commands. Marshall does not come when called, doesn't go in his crate easily and is not good with cats. These were all the things that I needed Dawn to work on him with and it was very clear that she did not. I am very disappointed in the fact that she had my dog for 10 weeks and nothing was taught to him. When I tried to reach out to her about a partial refund she responded to one text, the follow up texts have been read but no response. If you are looking for a dog trainer I would suggest you look somewhere else because you will save money, time and not have to start over with your dog when they get home.

Dawn has a very comprehensive well thought out plan for how to train dogs. She makes it fun and interesting for the dog and owner both. Her results are excellent and the training is easy to follow and the way she teaches everyone has fun in the process. If I had to sum up Dawn's training in one word it would be "Sterling"!

I cannot say enough good things about CEO! Dawn trained our Mel in her puppy program and she wasn’t an easy one! She had some major bathroom issues and did not like her crate/being alone. Dawn was so patient and never gave up on her. I couldn’t have made it through puppyhood without her. Today, Mel is such a good girl! I will never trust anyone else to train/board Mel any of our future pups.

Our girls Loretta & Dakota LOVE Dawn. We only use her services when we go out of town. We do not let anyone else watch our girls. It’s so hard to find someone to trust with your animals. We also used Dawn for Training for our Catahoula, Loretta! We had a great experience!

Dawn is the best! She took on the challenge of our 4 pack. They all had different issues. These pups are our fur children so it is very important for us to have well behaved dogs. Anyone looking for a truly professional, certified dog trainer should ONLY consider Canine Elite Obedience.
Once your dog successfully completes her program, he/she will also be eligible for a personalized boarding experience while you travel. While they are spending their time with Dawn, she will continue to work on any issues that need to be addressed. This means they will receive continuing education while being pampered during their stay. Our fur family has truly benefited from their training at Canine Elite Obedience.

Dawn helped us with a dog we adopted from the streets of Atlanta about 7 years ago. Mali is a fear aggressive dog and we had 2 sons and friends with lots of energy in our home. Mali's world was shrinking. She had to be crated and supervised when the house was active. Dawn taught us to be clear with our instructions so that Mali could be responsive. She is able to go participate with our family--road trips, hikes, walks, swimming at the lake! AND she even has a younger dog as a best friend--3 years now! THANK YOU DAWN for sharing your gifts.

Took our 14 week old Irish Setter, Skipper, to Ms. Dawn. Very pleased with the results. The owner must have dedication to continue the training. All things are possible at CEO. Dawn builds a foundation for a great dog but throw in lots of love and care, it can give the training gave us an amazing outcome. Skipper is still growing off the basics and advancing to hand shakes, and rolling over. He knows how to walk and how to handle distractions.
