Marcia is literally the sweetest! I would highly recommend her to anyone looking to get a Shiba. She was patient with us and took her time answering all our questions. Marcia would also frequently send us updates and videos of our puppy. Our puppy is basically house trained. She’s very intelligent and really affectionate. I couldn’t thank Marcia enough for a healthy a beautiful puppy!

Marcia was super kind and helpful from beginning to end. She communicated well with me and answered all my question. I can tell they put a lot of their effort into their puppies. I recieved Hiccup (originally Eli) and he melded into my little family quite quickly. He has the Shiba stubbornness and plays a bit aggressively sometimes, but is unbelievabley smart. He was basically potty trained from day one as long I made sure to let him out in a timely fashion(He didn't have an accident until the a week later and that's because I thought he was trying to play with things in the back room, not to go outside). Lastly, after these last two visits the vet told me that he is a beautiful dog and appears to be very healthy, as well as very intelligent. If I ever get another Shiba I can pretty much guarantee it will be from Cedar Ridge Shiba!

I have loved this breed since I first laid eyes on one when I was in high school when my high school sweetheart had one. I made up my mind then, when I was ready to get a dog, a Shiba was definitely the way to go.

We picked up our little buddy December 23rd and it was a great all around experience from begining to end. Mrs. Marcia is a sweetheart. Anyone wanting a shiba definitely need to reach out to Cedar Ridge Shibas. Meiko is a ball of energy indeed. Loved the experience, love the breed.

Just to add to what the other reviewers have posted. Cedar Ridge is the real deal. After nearly buying a Shiba from a scam website I stumbled upon Cedar Ridge Shibas while looking for a reputable breeder but feeling discouraged. After calling them with some initial trepidation I was very pleasantly surprised. Marcia and her family are the real deal. They built their kennels from the ground up with their own money and they do a wonderful job of socializing and raising their puppies to get them ready for their forever homes. She is very pleasant to talk to and more than willing to share her knowledge and love of Shibas to new prospective owners.
July was experiencing massive heat waves in her area and mine and she told me she doesn't and wouldn't in good conscience ship puppies when it was that hot. She was more than willing to allow me to come pick up my puppy which was a 10hr drive from where I live.
Long story short: If you are looking for a reputable breeder who cares about what they do and the fur babies they sell you won't be disappointed with Cedar Ridge. I would definitely deal with them again in a heartbeat.

I loved getting a Shiba from here! Our puppy Lily was very friendly and already house trained when we picked her up! And she’s been extremely easy to train, super smart dog! If you want a shiba I highly recommend getting one from Cedar Ridge!
