I’ve been fortunate to have Charlette at all three of my birth. She has an amazing quality about her to put me at ease and calm me down. It’s definitely not easy to be pregnant and have so many questions about your pregnancy, your body changing, your moods, your eating habits and most of all your anger toward your husband!

Yet she was there every step of the way, reminding me that it’s all temporary and most of all that I can have a natural birth without fear. My first pregnancy I ended up scared because I had too many people telling me what to do, so first sign of pain, I went to the emergency room where they pressed for an early delivery, and an epidural, I felt lost, confused and not in control of my own birth. I was put on my back and told to push but I didn’t feel anything.

Charlette came to the hospital and I was so relieved to see her because by that time, I just felt like it was an impossible task. It was definitely not what I expected my first birth to be like and I am very grateful that she encouraged me to go the midwife route with my second and third birth. The midwives did not rush me out of my exam rooms, they took time to answer my questions and I didn’t dread going to my appointments.

I feel like the care that you get from Charlette is very honest. She cares and listens to her patients. She won’t tell you what you want to hear, she will tell you the facts and remind you that birth is very natural and should be done at your pace. Everyone is different and everyone’s experience with birth should not be something one fears. We should be supported and be listened to and checked on even after birth. You will definitely get that from her.

Charlotte is always a call or text away anytime I have a question regarding my pregnancy. She knows how to make you feel comfortable with your body and makes sure to ask all the right questions and gives the best advice/answers. Amazing midwife!! I look forward to all the future answers to my billion questions she will give me. Never too many questions.
