Lorna was incredible! From the extensive communication and coordinating before our trip, to her 8 hours spend with my 16 month old, the detailed updates we got, and her following up afterwards. She was amazing. She brought more toys with her than my son has at home and seemed to engage and play with him the whole time. So he was happy as can be! This was my first time leaving him with a sitter, so I was nervous but I had no reason to be. I knew from the moment I met her everything would go great, and then the frequent detailed updates with pics eased any remaining fears. Lorna is incredible, do not hesitate to have her spend time with your children!

Lorna was an excellent communicator. She set me up with Becky to be our babysitter twice while on the island. Becky was kind, flexible for our schedule and she did great with my child (2yrs old). She brought toys for him to play with, she took him to the pool keeping him safe and she would send me text photos/updates which I loved. I would highly recommend for any childcare needs while on Kauai. Thank you for taking care my boy!

Lorna is amazing! She's so communicative and we were so appreciative of the babysitter (Hannah) that she coordinated for us for two different days at our hotel in Lihue. Hannah brought toys and books for our almost 3YO son and they also played in the pool. She kindly left the toys and books overnight since she was watching our son again along with our 7.5YO daughter the next day. We're visiting from Oahu, and we felt like from the start this was like having a family friend watch our kids. I would highly recommend ChildCare Kauai to anyone who wants to have big kid-only/adult time when vacationing in Kauai. What I understand from Lorna is that she has babysitters all across the island!!

We received quick confirmation of our needed dates from ChildCare Kauai. Lorna, our child care provider called to arrange care at our Hyatt room. She brought wonderful children’s books, toys, educational puzzles, and much more. Definitely a rare “Mary Poppins” nanny; the kids were very sad at the end of our vacation to have to say goodbye.🥲Top quality care!!!

We loved Lorna!! She was so great with our 4 and 2 year old. We didn't bring any toys for our little vacation and she had sooo many different toys for the kids, they were so happy to play with new toys!! I was so worried about my 2 year old that he would cry a lot and wouldn't let me go, but he didn't even notice I left. They played all day long, went even on a walk and we got all the pictures and were happy that we made a good choice with her. I would 100% recommend her. Lorna is such a nice and calm person. She was even able to stay a little longer because our tour got a little delayed.

We had such a great experience with Jonquil (aka Jonquil). She watched our two young kids (ages 4 and 7) and showed up with tons of activities and kept them happy and safe for most of the day. She clearly had a ton of experience and was very warm. So nice to get a date day for us grown ups!
