Circle D Ranch is wonderful!! Like anyplace, it’s only as good as the owners want it to be. That says multitudes about Bob and Becky. They allowed us to spend time with the horses and taught us SO much about the care and personality of horses in general.
If you want a fabulous experience learning and spending time with horses I highly recommend Circle D Ranch.
Thank you for making my daughter’s visit from Los Angeles a true Texas experience, not only being on a ranch but that good ole southern hospitality!! ?

Myself and my wife were in the area on vacation from the UK and we visited Bob for a true western riding experience. We were blown away not only by his fantastic instruction, his beautiful land, his amazing horses and the unbelievable fun we had, but also as to how friendly, professional and great fun he was whilst we spend several hours on the Circle D. Herding some of Bob’s steers and the introduction to barrel racing patterns was great and all taught/guided throughout. It was the highlight of our trip and will definitely be going back when in the area again.

Great experience. Bob is an amazing instructor. All the horses I have ridden at his ranch have been very easy to ride and well trained. It is easy to tell that his animals are loved and cared for and Bob's experience with roping and riding really comes through in his lessons. This is definitely one of the best places for western riding close to the Dallas and Denton areas. No fancy English stuff here... but if you're lookin' for a good western cowboy experience in the DFW metroplex then this is it! Cowboy Bob offers authentic western style riding, roping, and barrell racing lessons. In addition he'll show you how to properly care for and maintain horses. He has dummy steer and actual live steer to practice your best lasso-ing skills. There are also plenty of woods for trail rides and to get up close and personal with nature. I've seen all sorts of animals out at Circle D Ranch such as deer, turkey, rabbit, squirrel, herring and even some Red Tail Hawks. Plus, if you enjoy fishing you can always try your luck on the small lake on property or the nearby Lewisville Lake.
