We recently adopted our sweet dog Benji from Liberty Animal Control, and the experience was absolutely wonderful! From the moment we walked in, Samantha and Ariana made us feel heard, cared for, and truly valued.

Initially, we came to meet a different dog we thought might be a good match for our current dog. After two meet-and-greets, it became clear they weren’t the right fit. Samantha and Ariana encouraged us not to lose hope and invited us back the following week to meet more dogs. That’s when we found Benji—our family’s perfect match!

Having had a bad experience with another rescue earlier this year, we were blown away by the care and thoughtfulness of the team at Liberty Animal Control. They prioritized the safety and comfort of all the dogs while ensuring we felt confident throughout the process. We are so grateful for their kindness and dedication to helping us find Benji.

If you’re considering adopting, we cannot recommend Liberty Animal Control enough. Thank you for everything!

We had a great experience when we adopted Gracie. We met her and then took a little time to decide whether my husband and I were ready to commit. No pressure. After a discussion over lunch in Liberty, we went back and brought our girl home. The whole process went smoothly and we feel she has totally lived up to her Petfinder description. Such a sweet girl! We had a fantastic experience adopting our dog from Liberty Animal Shelter! We came in to meet a dog that we thought might vibe with our current dog. We did two meet and greets and they didn't click, but we came back the following week to meet our family's perfect match!

The ladies who work at the shelter were very knowledgeable, kind, and conscientious. We had a bad experience adopting with another rescue agency earlier this year and they took care to ensure that everyone felt comfortable about bringing another dog into our home. Our older dog loves his new brother, and we couldn't be happier.

We primarily worked with Samantha and Ariana who were phenomenal, but everyone we met was great. It was clear that they cared about each animal in the shelter and took time to get to know all of them. I highly recommend Liberty Animal Shelter!

Wonderful place with wonderful people. We were able to make arrangements to do a meet and greet on a Sunday which worked perfect with our schedule. The staff is super friendly and you can tell they really care about the animals. The adoption process was smooth and quite easy. The facility is very clean and well maintained. The animals all seemed well cared for, and got plenty of attention. Highly recommend if you are looking for a new fur baby.

Hello my name is Jessica Petet I am a liberty resident.i asked liberty animal shelter to help remove our pet cat for my husband was highly allergic.. I had trouble getting my cat into a carrier so I could take him into the shelter. I called the shelter and had a very nice gal tell me they will come help. Taylor arrived at my home and worked with our kitty until he calmed down long enough to put him in the carrier. I laughingly called her a cat whisper, she was amazing! I followed her to the new liberty animal shelter to drop off donations, I was amazed at what a nice shelter this was! The staff are all caring loving and very kind to me. I would definitely recommend these folks to help rehome our pets and adoption as well! Please take the time to drop off donations and visit this friendly caring shelter!

We adopted a sweet girl named Daisy and she's been an absolute blessing since day 1!! She's so sweet, and incredibly smart!! She just needed a family to love her, and we couldn't be happier with our choice!! Thank you again for helping us find a fur baby to call our own!!

Lovely experience adopting Emma on 11/25. I was nervous about my kid's first visit to a shelter but all the animals were so loved and the facility was very clean. Staff was so kind and knowledgable. We found our sweet Emma there now named Dolly 🙂
