This place is a nightmare. I wish there was no star option. If I hadn't had a warranty and also purchased an extended warranty I would have already ordered the part and fixed it myself. They keep giving me the run around to keep it short. They must know I have no other choice but them with my warranty because of where I live. But the cost of washing at the Laundry mat. I should of already fixed it myself. I've paid 5x the cost of the part by the time they come to fix it. The man who came out to repair it was amazing. Very polite and helpful.

D & S gave us 1st class service on our refrigerator repair. It started with their office customer service rep who scheduled the call with us. She was professional and friendly, and followed through on her promise to us get back with us if a cancellation slot opened up. We appreciated that commitment to her word.
The service call itself with Sergio was outstanding. He too was professional, courteous, knowledgeable and prompt. He left the kitchen and refrigerator as clean as when he arrived. He returned our refrigerator back to temporary working condition (thank goodness!) and has the replace part on order for completion of the repairs.

Very nice , polite and helpful but it took three visits over a four week period to correctly diagnose my refrigerator issue. I get that their business is to make money but $450 (on top of the $135 service call fee) to purchase and install a refrigerator fan that cost me $48 is a bit over the top. It took me 30 minutes to replace the fan.

Excellent! They answer the telephone, schedule service, call to confirm, and then they actually SHOW UP! Sergio - the technician - is polite, extremely professional and got here to Angel Fire sooner than I would have expected and got me up and running. Well done, D&S Appliance! Highly recommended! Other service providers should take note on how to run a customer driven business.

First appt my assistant couldn't get there in time when they were 30 minutes past the original appt's arrival window. This was a mix of mine and their fault (me thinking my assistant could still make it in time and them being late to the arrival window). When I rescheduled weeks later on a day I knew would work perfectly because they said, we'll put you at 8am first appt. That 8am appt turned into an 8-10am window when that day came, which they no-showed because the warning 15 minute call wasn't answered immediately (phone service is pretty unreliable in NM). Meanwhile my assistant was there at 8am waiting for them. Desk appt person told me it's "common sense" that if a client doesn't answer the 15 minute on their way call, they won't come (this was never communicated as a requirement and every company handles this differently) so they just NO SHOWED and I wasn't even updated on any of this until I called to check why they didn't show up. They said they would come by later that day so my assistant waited all morning and afternoon on them to return after the 3 appointments they put in front of mine. Then 6 hours they called and said, whoops I guess it was way more than 3 appts so we can't come today. Terrible communication and their time is all that matters. Not yours.

Reliable service and fair prices. My experience has been that the technicians arrive on time and are knowledgeable. When I have spoken with Catherine in the office, I always get a thorough explanation of why the repair was necessary as well as a break-down on the cost of parts and labor. I have a relative in the business, so I always cross check to make sure prices they are charging are fair. On the last repair, my relative told me that he couldn't get the parts for the price they (D&S) were charging. He said he wouldn't want to do the repair for twice the money. D & S is a first rate company, and based on my experience, I recommend them highly!

It took a week before they could come out and fix my dryer. When they got here they didn't have the right part, but they still charged me for a service call. We then scheduled another service call, which would take another 10 days. Meanwhile I decided to replace the dryer. I called to cancel the appointment and they said I would have to pay the return and restocking fee for the part. Never again!
