The sleigh ride is an absolute must do experience in the winter. Hayden was 10/10 guide. She made the whole experience even better than it already was. The fire and marshmallows/ hot chocolate were the icing on the sleigh ride cake. This was definitely the highlight of our trip and when we come back we'll definitely do it again.

This was my second attempt to have a Dashing Thru The Snow experience and I will say I was NOT disappointed. It was definitely a magical ride. We had a beautiful sleigh ride pulled by Venus and Patience a 5 year and 8 year old sister percheron horses. We got to meet Waffles (boarder collie) and Haven (husky/greyhound/wolf mix) who rode with us and then ran along with the horse. The mountains were so beautiful. Our driver was Hayden who provided us with LOTS of information was VERY friendly and gave us great conversation. After the sleigh ride we got to socialize with some of the other horse (Champ, Luke, and Boo). Truly AWESOME to be around such massive beautiful handsome animals. We had a lovely campfire and were provided marshmallows for toasting. Cody also made us some BOMB hot chocolate! While the experience was a 10/10 by itself we were lucky enough to see 2 wild moose! We learned the cow named Frostbite has lived in that area for over 7 years! Overall I would definitely come back and recommend it to anyone in the area.

We had an amazing ride with our guide LoLo (sp?), I apologize for misspelling your name! But she wasn’t just knowledgeable about our horses, she was obviously a local too; which made the experience a true treat.

As someone who used to ski for the Winter Park Freestyle Team, I have spent a significant portion of my life in Winter Park. However, I do not live there anymore and I do not claim to have stayed in touch or up to date with everything that’s happened in the past decade plus…

LoLo was kind enough to give my daughter a brief history lesson on the town, but one she could comprehend! She also taught my kiddo about the awful pine beetle that is killing nearly 80% of the trees! But never once did she have an ‘agenda’. She simply educated us on what was occurring and that’s what was so refreshing, as it is very easy to tell when a person has an agenda and well other than wishing for us to come back in December, there was no agenda, and that’s just what the doctor ordered less than 20 days before a major election!

The sleigh ride offers beautiful scenery, and the sleigh driver was very friendly and knowledgeable. However, I highly recommend bringing your own blanket. The blankets they provide are not warm. We did a group sleigh ride and had the unfortunate luck of sitting in front of a large group of people who were clearly drunk. They were loud, obnoxious, and used profanity. It ruined the experience for us especially because my two children had to listen to it. The end of the ride had hot cocoa, marshmallow roasting, and a "sledding hill." Be aware that the sledding hill is actually a large mound of snow and is more suited to young children, even though the sleigh ride itself is really not geared to young children. I don't think we would do the sleigh ride again. But for those who are interested, it's worth considering the private sleigh ride rather than the group.

We had an absolutely perfect experience here. Fresh falling snow, majestic draft horses, friendly staff, all come together to form a perfect winter wonderland experience! This was the pinnacle of our vacation in the Winter Park area.
