Prior to allowing you to board your dogs, they request updated shot records as well as having your dogs come to a free evaluation day to make sure they'll do well at the facility. I was provided an update during the visit that included photos and a description of how they were doing. I hadn't been to a facility that requires the evaluation day before, so I was impressed. When I picked the dogs up, they seemed happy and well taken care of. So I boarded them for a weekend. Everything went well again- they seemed happy, well taken care of, their nails were trimmed, and they smelled good. Plus the staff was friendly and the prices are reasonable. If I have to go out of town again, I wouldn't mind trusting my dogs in their care again.

Have taken our Great Pyrenees/Labrador mix dog here several times. We had him stay a couple of nights as well as having him bathed. We have been pleased with both price and professionalism of the staff. We do not enjoy leaving our dog but we feel that he is in good hands at this establishment.

I've been going here for years, various different dogs. My last boarding was for 10 days. A little disappointed up on picking up our dog as her blanket had multiple pee stains. It looks as though the dog was not let out much, maybe just kenneled for a long period.
About 20% cost increase for overnight boarding since my last boarding.

My dog loves it here. The staff takes really good care of him. He is boarded several times a year, for a whole week at a time. He's always happy to go here and the staff are happy to see him too. My dog has also done board and train with the owner. His behavior has improved thanks to the training. I am really happy with their services and the prices are reasonable also.

I have been bringing my dog here for the past few years and she absolutely loves it. I travel a good bit and it feels really nice to know she is in good hands. Every time I drop her off she is wagging her tail and ready to go see her friends. I can't say enough good things about the staff and the love and attention they continue to give her.

I have been bringing my dog here for a few months. He is a large 85 pound Great Dane Mix. Very gentle and gets along with everyone, dogs, cats, the whole thing. I have always wondered how much the dogs actually go outside because no matter what time I pick up, the yards are empty. They have lied to me about my dog being bathed (my shampoo hadn’t even been opened, seal still closed) I have chosen to overlook these things because they are cheaper than most, and pretty convenient to get to. However, yesterday at daycare he was placed in a kennel next to a group of small dogs and became excited. He ended up ripping one of his front paw pads in half, and breaking one nail in half... ripping the quick out of the bed. The owner described it as a “murder scene” with all of the blood. I understand injuries happen but Doggy Day Out failed to call me or the emergency contact, clean the blood off of my dog, assist in bandaging, or even stopping the blood from the two serious wounds. I am absolutely infuriated by their actions, or lack there of. A simple dip in syptic powder or some liquid bandage... something to show a little effort. NOTHING! Not even a phone call so that we could come and take him to the vet ourselves. I will NEVER bring my dog back here and I highly recommend you look into your other options.

First time boarding our dogs ever for an extended trip to visit family out of state. First red flag was we called for an update/photos and got none. Second red flag was when we picked them up we noticed deep scrapes and red bumps all over. The last straw was when we noticed our youngest dogs wick had been clipped so short that his whole toe is swollen because it is literally clipped almost to the skin and is red and bleeding. I understand that accidents happen but no one called to inform us and not a word was said at pick up. So after paying boarding fees and the extra for nail clipping on two dogs I now have to take both dogs to the vet for their wounds. Super super disappointed and heartbroken that I trusted my pets to this place.
