Doggy Detail is absolutely amazing! Our dogs absolutely love going there. It's like visiting their favorite aunt! The groomer is incredibly gentle, patient, and clearly loves animals. She takes the time to make our pups feel comfortable and relaxed. We've never seen our dogs so excited to go anywhere, except maybe the park! She also provides great advice on grooming and overall dog care. We highly recommend Doggy Detail!

*NOT FOR SENIOR DOGS*. My family used to go to her for years. I was just informed that Our appt was declined. The reason: Since she hadn't seen my dog in over a year and since he was of advanced age, (13 years), she didn't want to deal with him anymore. That was that. We were loyal customers for such a long time, so we are all so disappointed. I thought she would at least give us a recommendation to another place or something. Anyway I recommend Ocean Paws they are incredible. And they seem to actually like dogs. 🐶

I cannot recommend Dani enough. She has groomed three of my dogs for the past several years. She's professional and her shop is clean. She is very efficient with her grooming- which is wondeful for the dogs not having to stay the in kennels all day like other grooming places. Mahalo Dani for your QUALITY small business in Kona.

Dani is the best!! My almost 13 year old , 100 pound Golden/Husky rescue dog LOVES her & she is a nervous dog who gets scared of loud noises, etc. Dani has been wonderfully patient and great with her when she goes in for her shave every few months! Thank you Dani !! Her before & after pics!

Doggy Detail gave Jake the best groom he has ever had in Kona or the mainland. He was rescued from a puppy mill so is usually very nervous at drop off and pick up, however; Dani's calm demeanor had him in a relaxed state as soon as we arrived and more impressively when we picked him up. We were so impressed we immediately made an appointment for our cat Tom (yes she grooms cats too!) and set Jake up on a recurring schedule. They also carry products, and I especially liked the colorful collars and bamboo bowls. Thank you Doggy Detail for taking such great care of our fur babies. We highly recommend!
