My 2 year old dog had been experiencing increased reactivity and I was at a loss for how to help her. She is a sweet little gal, but I felt I was losing any sense of control over her behavior. I looked at Elevate and honestly was on the fence because of the use of a prong collar and e-collar. I realized I needed to take a big step to help her and signed up for the two week day training.

In addition to helping Krosby, my Yorkie mix was off the charts with his barking and leash pulling. After talking with the team further, I added Harley to the same two week program.

Total. Game. Changer.

Not only did my dogs gain confidence with the training, I gained confidence as the pack leader. I feel like I am a better owner because of our experience. The collars are tools and I am shown how to use them to help, never harm. Both pups are happy and we can communicate, again. The cherry on top, Krosby can get her nails trimmed without sedation!

After two sessions, I had the best walk with my pups. Harley wasn't pulling or barking. Krosby was confident and engaged with me. We are not fixed, but this is a process. We have come so far and we will continue to succeed.

The program was amazing for not only Ellie, but for me as well. Ellie was extremely reactive to other dogs and people. She would constantly bark and just wouldn’t listen to any commands. After the first day of training, I could already see a difference in her behavior. I would get an email everyday on her progress that also included videos of the training that was being worked on. These helped build my own confidence to work on training at home. I’m grateful to have a strong foundation that I can continue to build on each day and to continue our success. My only regret is that I did not do this sooner!

Elevate Canine did a wonderful job with our mini dachshund, Finn. On walks, he is no longer pulling on the leash. He listens very well to basic commands such as sit, down, and place after taking the 3 week program. The staff are so friendly and will answer any questions you may have. Highly recommend!

We had a great experience at Elevate Canine Academy! It was invaluable for us to learn how to work with our giant breed dog. Sage, did the 2 week day training program and has done so well! Everyone there was so kind and patient and they really kept us owners in the loop with what she accomplished each day and what she needed to work on. I am much more comfortable walking her and having her in public settings with other pets and people around. She no longer pulls on her leash and her hyper excitability has improved so much. We still need to continue to work with her on our own, but now at least we have the tools to do it and always have Elevate as a resource!

I am very happy with the training my dog received at Elevate Canine Academy in Fargo. We can't say enough positive things about our experience at Fargo’s Elevate Canine Academy Day Training Program! From the moment we enrolled our 19 month old greyhound mix, we knew we were in good hands. Our dog had struggled with reactivity issues such as leash pulling, barking aggressively out the window at passing dogs, and not listening to commands, making walks, outings and relaxing at home quite stressful for both us and our pup.

The team at Elevate Canine Academy went above and beyond to address these behaviors with patience, expertise, and genuine care. Jackie O was a 10 lb bully! She had issues walking on a leash & obeying any commands that we gave her. Frankly, she was an embarrassment to us in general! After completing the 2 week day program, she has made such progress! We now enjoy taking walks without her spinning like a top on the end of the leash & lunging at anything that moved along the way! She still has work to do, but we are better equipped to help her be a better dog. We will be continuing her training with Elevate Canine Academy as they have several programs that we think she will benefit from. The staff are caring & helpful & we are so grateful we found this program.
