Hannah is phenomenal.

I booked a private horseback riding session for sunset photos after my husband and I eloped in Arches National Park. The afternoon was absolutely amazing. Her horses were so sweet and funny and we loved learning about their individual personalities. But the real star of the show was Hannah!! My gosh, she is so so sweet and thoughtful.

One of the main reasons I wanted to book with her specifically was because of how she treated and cared for her horses which was very important to me.

Conversations were so great, and she was so knowledgeable with questions we asked her - questions really about anything! Horses, local living, plants, you name it. It was so nice chatting with her for a few hours and having our photographer capture amazing moments with her horses. We will be back to Moab for sure, and we will definitely book another session with Hannah - it was one of the highlights of our beautiful day. Thank you, Hannah! You are such a gem.

Where do I start?
I was so lucky to find Hannah when I looked for a ranch in Moab where I could work on my riding skills. The week I spent at the Elk Ranch will be in my heart forever .
Not only did I get to ride for hours everyday, I also learned so much, and all that in the most beautiful scenery.
The love and passion Hannah has for what she does, can be seen everywhere.
The horses are well taken care of, healthy, happy, and well trained .
Hannah is a sea of knowledge and a treasure to work with.

My daughter and I had the best time riding with Hannah! My daughter is 7 and she was so great with her! My daughter is still talking about the horses and talking about how nice Ms. Hannah was. Highly recommend if you are in the Moab area. We did the LaSal Oasis trail. It was beautiful and we got some great pictures! Thank you for a great experience that my daughter and I won’t forget!

If you're looking for horseback riding in Moab, do yourself a favour and book with Elk Mountain Ranch!! This experience was by far the best out of all the different trail rides we've done in our travels. We reached out pretty last minute to schedule and Hannah rearranged her plans to make it work for us. We went with Cameo Cliffs and it was a beautiful trail, plus the horses were so lovely and well taken care of. We enjoyed talking with Hannah just as much as the trail ride itself. She even found an antler on the trail!! She was kind enough to give it to us, and it's truly our favourite keepsake from our trip. We can't wait to return to Moab someday and support her small business again!

Had the best time with Hannah! I ride and have my own horse but my husband has never ridden - Hannah picked the perfect, most well behaved horse for him and he had the best time! Hannah is down to earth, fun, charming and knowledgeable about horses. As someone who used to work as a trail guide: Hannah, her horses and her business are all 10/10!

Hannah was very informative and patient! She has a great knowledge of her horses! I love that she limits the rides she takes so the horses aren’t overworked!
