My cat needed vet care right away on a Saturday afternoon when her usual vet was closed. Emergency Pet Center of the 4 States was able to take her right away and got us into a room promptly. The tech and doctor were both amazing, with doing a very thorough examination and gathering all of her medical history. They gave us a list of options for treatment, from minimal to very extensive and worked with us to decide the best course of action. The staff was so caring and knowledgeable! In the case of any other pet emergencies, this place will be my go-to! Harley kitty is so much better just a day later! Thank you so much!

These people are awesome... I've scrolled through a few reviews on here now but have also spent the last 12 hours overnight here with my dog who had a spleen/tumor rupture and needed emergency surgery... When you compare some of the gripes and groans of dissatisfied people on here to the real lives behind the scenes of the folks at that clinic, you realize that this is a team of people who are welcoming, hospitable, & more than accommodating in a place that isn't always warm and fuzzy... They let me stay by my boys side, treated him as if he were their own, offered me everything from a drink from Sonic to cot & blankets to rest on, and I am truly appreciative of their actions and great surgical work. Dr. Helm did an amazing job and my dog is alive because of her and the team there... That means a lot more to me than some petty disagreement about toe nails with a low star review that may have thwarted my decision to come here... This place, just like ANY of its kind, has a business to run obviously, and they require money like any other vet office would, so I don't see the value in comments bashing them on that either. I would trade my entire household to save my dog because he has saved me too, you can't put a price on that. Many thanks to these people and their tireless work, their long hours, and the love they bring to their patients. 10/10 would bring any pet here again, but hopefully we don't have any reasons to... 🙂 ❤

My little Min Pin was bloated huge! I called and they had me bring him right in. I was in a panic, worried sick. They were amazing!!!! I loved both the nurse and doctor and so did my little dog. They cared for him promptly and had us on our way. The pricing was very fair as well. Of course it's going to cost more than a regular vet clinic, but it is an ER. With any emergency, it's going to cost. The compassion they show was so important to me. I love my animals as much as my children and it meant the world, that they loved him as I do. Thank you Emergency Pet Center. You ALL are wonderful!!!!!!!!!!!

Our eleven year old chihuahua female became ill on a Friday, of course...so I took her in hoping it was something minor. She was diagnosed with Pyometra and was basically going to die from it. The doctors were very helpful in providing information, options and access to her while they attempted to hydrate her and get her ready for surgery, since we opted to do everything we could to help her survive this illness. The surgery was risky because of her age, she has a heart murmur also. They expressed that she may not survive the surgery and to prepare for that possibility. Fortunately we were able to pool our money and get her taken care of, one of the vet techs there saved her life by monitoring her heart rate during the surgery and they nearly lost her during surgery...thankfully they were able to get the surgery done during the wee hours of Saturday morning with no interruption. She is better than new now, took a couple of weeks for her to get her strength back but doing great. I would have rather used my regular vet but was very relieved to have this option for an emergency on a weekend. Great bunch of people, allowed me to come visit her several times during that first day before surgery. I am very grateful to them for saving her for us. 🙂

Our dog was bitten by a copperhead snake late last night and we drove almost an hour to get to this clinic. They were very friendly and thorough. The price was fair - $200 which included two shots and three prescriptions. And, they said that if Trixie didn't get any better and we felt she needed to be seen again, there would be no additional charge. Trixie is doing better this morning. Very happy with both the vet and the receptionist / assistant.

Would definitely give a 0 if I could. My step brother and a friend of my moms both tried to go up here. They were rude, talking about hating their jobs and just awful. They gave the friends animal some medicine and she died shortly after that. They are all about the money and do not give to shots about the pets. Would not ever go here, if I were you guys. The best vet around us is 30 minutes away in Girard, KS. They care about the pets and they will work with you on costs. Our little dog was deathly I'll with parvo and they cured him while giving us financial aid. 0/10 for this place, though.

I'd like to give a star to the receptionist who was very kind and actually listened to us. My husband and I came in one night (from 50 min away) because our little girl dog had gotten into chocolate cake after our roommate got home before us, let her out, then left her unattended for awhile before we could get home from work. I was very worried sick because she wasn't feeling well, although she was hyper from anxiety and being somewhere new. The vet wrote it off as nothing wrong with her and was SO rude to my husband and I. We're nice, honest, and timid people so we let him finish his "lecture" about "taking responsibility" for it. It was an ACCIDENT. Literally a situation out of our control completely, but we WERE being responsible as well as terrified for her as we took her in that night. Idk if we caught him in a bad mood or what, but he got on to us like we were children and accused me of interrupting him when I was clearly trying to inform him about her and the situation and thought we were having a conversation, but he didn't want that, he wanted to lecture us. I bawled the whole way home because he completely had it all wrong and our girl was hurting. I was right about her needing help, because that next day she had a seizure and threw up so much. I ended up consulting with my sister-in-law who is a vet in Owasso and she gave me much better advice. I will never go back there again, we have never been more unjustly insulted in our lives and our dog had to suffer for the vet's ego 🙁

Brought my 3yr old siamese for treatment of lethargy and not eating. The receptionist was kind but didn't seem she knew the system too well. Our nurse was a little informative but was slightly cold and handled my scared cat a bit roughly. She even had her mood shift like she was trying to hide that she was angry when my cat struggled. The vet doctor was very nice and informative and knew what he was looking for. They insisted on blood work and keeping her overnight and when i called a few hours later, the technician woman kept repeating "I don't really know what this means, I don't really think this is an issue but if it is bring her back, I don't really know what the vet is doing." She wasn't informative at all really which to me is a bit annoying and concerning. Sorry but it is. I went to pick her up in the morning and she was still lethargic. Still not eating and all that seemed to be different was the fact that her fever was down. Of which I am grateful. They gave me meds to administer at home. They had her hooked up to an IV and wrapped her paw up, but didn't inform me to take it off of her in an hour so I left it on assuming thats what I was supposed to do. About two hours after bringing her home her paw swelled up like a baseball mitt and was throbbing. I just think that overal it was ok. Not great by any means but, the staff was pleasant (though not informative or seemingly educated enough to be giving worried owners advice) again sorry but this is just being honest about my experience. The cost wasn't terrible but I worry about how my cat was handled while I wasn't with her given how I witnessed the nurse technician handle her. And refer to her as "very unfriendly" to another technician as I walked away to leave her for the night. When really she was just scared. Maybe, just rephrase things? That wasn't great to hear. I'm hoping my siamese gets better soon with this medication they gave me.
