My puppy Dottie and I just finished all three levels of Go Anywhere Dog obedience. This place is unlike most training centers as the trainers seriously commit to the concept that training should allow dogs and their owners to feel comfortable bringing their dogs… well.. anywhere. Because of this ethos, the classes stress socialization over strict obedience. In addition to basic obedience, the trainers teach owners how to read their dogs in social situations. For example, Dottie loves to play with all dogs, but she exhibits certain behaviors that communicate submissiveness, which can cause other dogs to see her as a target for aggression. I wouldn’t have learned this about my dog at most other training centers. Another detail we benefit from is rug training. Dottie has learned her rug is a safe space and a place where she should stay. I’m excited to see how this training translates when patio season opens in the spring. All trainers: Emily, Ashley and Jodi bring compassion, patience, love of all dogs and keen knowledge to each class. If there were more classes available to take with Go Anywhere, we would certainly register for them!

Go Anywhere Dog offers a great platform for dog training. Jody and Ashley are extremely knowledgeable, make classes fun, and my pup Larry absolutely loves going there. Puppy socialization and Life Skills 101 (which we just finished) are geared towards giving you all the tools on how to train your dog the standard commands, plus some fun ones that make your dog look like an absolute boss. They give you tools to ensure your dog will come when called and important tidbits about how your dog thinks that will make you a better handler. Last, but certainly not least, they provide controlled and supervised socialization, which truly sets up your dog to "go anywhere" with you and is so hard to replicate. I 100% recommend Go Anywhere, they truly love what they do and are amazing at it.

I’d highly recommend Go Anywhere Dogs for puppy training. Barkley started at the Puppy and Me class when he was a shy little guy and I was a brand new dog owner. He is now a confident pup (currently in 101 aka puppy first grade) who gets compliments about being well-behaved, and I’m a more confident and equip dog parent.

His favorite part of class is getting time for off-leash play with other puppies his age, and that has taught me how to be comfortable with and aware of what is healthy play with other dogs. Jody and her team of trainers are great with the dogs and also good at training us humans about how to better understand the behaviors and needs of our pup.

He’s loves going to class and I’m often surprised at how fast Barkley picks up the behaviors when we practice the step by step training for homework between classes and practice in class. I’m looking forward to what he and I both learn next as he gets older and graduates to more advanced skills.

I would highly recommend Go Anywhere Dogs and plan on continuing classes as he grows up.

My pup and I just finished the 101 class and are on to the next level. The team of instructors at Go Anywhere Dog is amazing to work with - they are patient, knowledgeable, encouraging and eager to pass on their wisdom. I'm so pleased with the progress my pup and I have made together. Each skill we've learned is broken down into easy to follow and easy to achieve steps, both at home and in the classroom. I'd highly recommend this school for anyone looking both socialize and train their dog for real life situations.

Started puppy Life Skills 101 a few weeks ago and I’m so impressed with their general approach and philosophy. No intimidation or fear-based tactics. Reward-based and I love that they value and encourage socialization between the pups - it’s SO IMPORTANT! Our little Nora is working hard and learning quickly after starting out very shy.

Olive and I took all 3 levels of life skills. While I’m sure you could do most of the training at home; nothing beats the added distraction of learning around other dogs. I would say one of the most beneficial things from all three classes combined is learning how to get your dogs focus on you in an environment with multiple distractions. Highly recommend go anywhere dog!

Highly, highly recommend Go Anywhere Dog classes! We were so happy with Jody’s training that we’ve actually taken all the classes offered, but this review is for the puppy class. We were extremely impressed with Jody's ability to notice the unique personalities of each puppy, interpret their behaviors and offer individualized suggestions and interventions, while also making sure all the dogs in the class were safe and having a positive experience. My puppy was initially displaying behaviors that I would have interpreted as aggressive, but Jody was able to tell he was actually sensitive and overcompensating for his nervousness. She taught us how to intervene effectively to improve his behavior while also building up his confidence. I fully credit Jody and these classes for helping our puppy develop into a well trained and emotionally healthy dog who truly goes anywhere and everywhere with us.

We initially enrolled our dog, Pepper, in a puppy class at one of the big box chain stores, thinking this was the standard for puppy training. That all changed when we discovered Anywhere Dog.

Our experience with Anywhere Dog began with in-home training sessions for Pepper. We were dealing with some behavioral issues, and despite having had dogs in the past, I was at my wits' end trying to manage them. The trainers from Anywhere Dog introduced us to positive reinforcement techniques and shared invaluable tips and tricks. The transformation was incredible! Walking Pepper is no longer a battle, there are no more accidents in the house, and all the naughty behaviors have disappeared.

When we added a second dog, Phoenix, to our family, we decided to enroll her in the class environment at Anywhere Dog. The difference between this and the big box chain puppy classes was night and day. The trainers at Anywhere Dog are exceptional; their passion and genuine care for the dogs are evident in everything they do.
