Very small, only a dozen yards or so from a loud major highway. Gate is locked and can only be opened with Greentree resident ID card. Dogs are not allowed elsewhere in the park. If you're an "outsider" with a dog, don't waste your time. Never even heard of anything like this. Curious how this rule heavy, restrictive setup came to be.

Users must be Green Tree residents, must complete an application, provide a deposit, and the dogs must pass camp bow wow behavioral study before use of this park.

This is the most restrictions I've seen of any open-air dog park in the Pittsburgh area. And, not surprisingly, the area is completely empty on Saturday afternoon.

I have had numerous dogs. Don't have one now but use the walking path past this place often. I also believe I read dog park it is for Greentree resident use.
Overall a nice, clean, fully fenced in dog park. It's never super crowded either, 2 or 3 dogs at one time is busy. If I had a dog and had access I would use often. Some dog owners feel the same way. I see the same dogs and owners in park often. Have said in my overall park review, location is a pretty safe for all and is a generally nice area. Dog Park is a nice size but not super large. Size is the only reason I gave it 4 stars. Other than that it's gets 5.

I was looking for a nice park to take my dog that wasn’t a small forgotten area in the corner of a park. However, after reading the reviews, I was surprised to find out you have to reside in Greentree, pay a membership fee, and take your dog to training before you can use the park. It’s a step up from a few other doggy litter boxes but it’s not that special. A little prejudice Greentree Keep your park.

The rules are ridiculous!

I didn’t know that dogs weren’t allowed anywhere else and now looking back; I see why people were eying me.

Either way, this dog park sucks. I wouldn’t advise anyone to go there.

Private dog park! Be forewarned!

You need to complete the application process to even get a key to have access to this dog park.

I had already driven to this dog park so we hopped the fence and let the dog run around. There is a small tube the dog can run through I suppose if you're training them for a dog show. Other than that there wasn't a thing in the dog park other than nicely kept grass. No toys, not even a lone tree. And the fact that the park was exclusive certainly made the grass nice but my favorite part of dog parks is other dogs, that way you don't have to do the work of exercising your dog other dogs can do it. All you'll have to do is throw a ball or two and the pack of dogs will do the rest of the work.

Nothing on this dog park says it's exclusive until you get there and find it RFID locked. I have no idea why they don't list this as a private dog park, it's not a public space and somehow taxpayer dollars were used to build a private dog park?

Don't waste your time, the entrance is also not ADA wheelchair compliant.

The dog park is for locals only, needs an application process to even get a key to it. The rest of the park is peppered with "no dogs" signs everywhere. Serious letdown for my dogs and me. I travel 15k miles per month easily and I only know of one other dog park in the country that locks people out like this one does.
