I LOVE our True Value Hardware and the staff is AWESOME. Selection is amazing, everyone is kind and helpful from the moment you walk through the door. My first time here. I didn’t feel like driving all the way to Kahului for 4 different screws that I needed. I was Greeted at the door by the most friendliest staff ever! They asked if I needed help finding anything in particular, yes. One staff lady she walked me right to the loose screws section and assisted me with the particular screws I needed and measured it for accuracy, she also placed it in the bag and wrote down the item numbers all ready for the cashier! They had what I needed and came with excellent customer service. So easy and pleasant. I’ll be back

I want to like this store, because I like to support local businesses and all. However, every time I stop by they do not have what I am looking for. There are lots of empty shelf spaces and pegs which means that either the business is struggling or the management is not good at maintaining inventory. Instead of shopping here, I now go to Ace Hardware in Pukalani. It is a bit further of a drive but they always have what I need.

Really like this place very helpful employees , they helped me as soon as I walked in to the store. Great customer service. Willing to pay a little more for service like that. You sure don't get that kind of service at the big box stores downtown.

Haiku True Value employees ALWAYS have masks on and I’m in there a few times a week.....sometimes multiple times a day! We’ve been in construction of our house for the past 2yrs and they have saved us 1000 trips to town. They’re constantly friendly, attentive, and usually have exactly what we’re looking for. Grateful we have them in our little Haiku Town ✨

Unknowledgeable idiots. Each employee will ask you if you need help or need to find something. If they have 5 employees working, that's 5 people who will ask you the same question within 3 minutes, which is totally annoying. That's not customer service. This place needs to close down. Just cuz someone asks if they can help, doesn't mean they know what they are doing. just dumb.

Purchased a hose a month ago, medium duty. I depressurized it after each use and stored it under the house. Today it burst when I went to use it. Tried to return it and they wanted a receipt. I kept that in an envelope in the truck. Too bad the ink had dissipated. New hose purchased at another store and cell phone pic of the receipt. Guess I could waste more gas and time printing my bank statement. Fool me once......True Value just lost a customer. Just left a message at Corporate, see what happens? Corporate sent me a 25.00 gift card. That seems reasonable enough. The saga continues. Went to use the gift card and its invalid. Phone calls have been made etc. The people that work at the store have been kind. No resolution. According to Corporate I can only use the gift card online because Haiku True Value does not participate in their redemption program. The shipping on most items makes using the (gift card) a joke. Corporate said they would send an e-mail code waving shipping but that has not happened (no, its not in spam). I give up True Value wins the 25.00 grand prize.
