As we are moving and it's our pups last day, we have to give happy tails the raving review they truly deserve. This place is his home away from home. I always run into employees who are possibly more excited than I am to see my own dog. They take the best care of the pups here and have the best service in town. I would gladly recommend happy tails to anyone and everyone around St Louis for doggy daycare and boarding. Thank you so much to everyone at happy tails for all the love you've shown Balto over the years. We will miss this place more than you could possibly know.

I called in today to schedule an appointment to get my puppy dog groomed because one of the best groomers I know works there who always is friendly and does a tremendous job. However Abbyl that answered the phone was extremely rude. Abby went out of her way to be rude and unprofessional from the moment I asked if the groomer that I prefer still worked there.
Not sure why they have someone so unhappy representing there company on the phone. She obviously does not care about the customers the company owners nor the groomers that work there.
I would never trust her with any credit card info.persinal info and especially not my puppy dog!

My dog was groomed there last week and seemed to be in pain when he came home. He was not himself for the rest of the day and evening, but finally was back to normal the next morning. He is used to being groomed has never come home like this from where we normally take him. I'm not sure what happened, but he won't be back.

I was a loyal customer for 8 years, and used to enjoy bringing my dog to daycare. But in the past couple of years the customer service has noticeably gone down terribly and also the price has gone up tremendously. It used to be a cheaper option around town, but you can find way better prices & service elsewhere. I did not think "shrink-flation" could happen to a dog care service, but it has happened here, prices doubled and service worsend. Very disappointing.

My miniature schnauzer had some pretty bad matts in his fur happy tails took care of him for a very reasonable price. Other shops were quoting me over $100 to have him groomed while happy tails did it for 65

We left our dog with them perfectly healthy, he came back with a terrible limp on his back legs. Found out today he developed intervertebral disc disease and will be paralyzed the rest of his life. This develops from being dropped, or falling. We called Happy tails and their response is we’re not responsible for any injuries that happen during our care. BEWARE ABOUT LEAVING YOUR ANIMALS HERE!!!

Happy Tails lost my dog for almost 48 hours. I have been a loyal customer for four years and what happened to me this past weekend is ridiculous. I brought both of my dogs (yellow lab and black lab) to Happy Tails on Friday, June 28, 2024 at 5:45am for boarding. I was scheduled to pick them up on Sunday, June 30, 2024 before 1pm.

On Sunday at approximately 12:45pm, I arrived at Happy Tails to pick up my dogs. I paid for the boarding and then they brought, what they believed to be, both of my dogs out. They successfully brought my yellow lab out, however, they brought me the wrong black lab...

I informed Happy Tails of the mistake and was told that they would get my dog and that this happens sometimes with German Shepherds and Labradors. After waiting for about 15 minutes, a worker came up appearing to be flustered and nervous. The worker and a few other workers had a meeting behind the gated area and when she walked out to the waiting room, I was informed that my dog was no longer at Happy Tails.

Long story short, I dropped my dog off on Friday, June 28, 2024 at 5:45am, Happy Tails gave my dog to someone else on Friday at 2:30pm, and the person that took my dog on Friday at 2:30pm didn’t return my dog until Sunday, June 30, 2024 at 2:15pm. In other words, Happy Tails gave my dog away for 47.5 hours.

I was told Happy Tails would give me a refund, however, as of the time of this posting, that has not happened. Regardless of whether or not they give me a refund, they gave my dog away. It is important to note that the person Happy Tails gave my dog to assured Happy Tails it was his dog, and he initially refused to return him when they informed him of their mistake... I will not be bringing my dogs back.
