A lot of the care here can be good, but the financial "team" is full of scam artists. You will not be told about standing bills. Prices will be extremely high. So sad there are no other options.
FUN FACT, JUST DON'T PAY THEM! THERE'S NO LAW SAYING YOU HAVE TO! IT WON'T AFFECT YOUR CREDIT!

UPDATE: This was fixed very quickly after I left this review and my bill was sent to the correct place and removed from collections. Thank you!!

The care I received was fine. But the billing department is a nightmare. I was seen from a referral from the VA, which the VA is responsible for. I have received many bills, even after calling to let them know to bill the VA. They have now gone to collections and I've just about given up. I have never missed a payment on any bill and my credit score is excellent. Not sure how to get through to them that it's NOT responsibility. Unfortunately I run into this problem a lot as a veteran using care in the community through the VA.

My brother believes he had a stroke and my son just took him to this place. My brother description of his symptoms are all relevant to a stroke. My brother has had three in the past so he should know. The doctor had blood drawn and said all looked good and sent him home. You can't detect a stroke from blood work. You need a CT scan or MRI. My brother is still not feeling well so now my son is taking him to the Springs. How sad is our medical system in the US!!! If I could give a zero I would. Poor excuse for a hospital and doctor.

DO NOT GO HERE EVEN IF ITS AN EMERGENCY!! I have never had a single positive experience here. Terrible staff and the most unhelpful service I have ever experienced in my life. And this is also a talking point throughout the community and I just hope that something will be done about this. Hospitals are so important and to have one that is so badly managed and for the staff to be so rude and disrespectful is aweful.

I was extremely pleased with every aspect of my recent stay in HRRMC Hospital from the emergency room, to the 4 night stay in the Medical Unit, to the discharge. The nursing care was friendly, caring, and personal. The food was excellent and varied. The doctor’s explained in detail and in clear understandable terms exactly what and why each step was being done.

I went to the ER here twice this summer, once for broken ribs, another time for a broken knee. I was correctly diagnosed in both cases by Dr. Visitacion. He is a great kind doctor. My constructive feedback would be for him to spend a bit more time with his patients, as he seemed quite rushed. Overall, great place to go if you need an ER!

ULTRASOUND IMAGING. it was NOT the gynecologist, but the woman who did my ultrasound here is rude and made me uncomfortable. I had to get an invasive ultrasound - and without my knowledge there was a student in the room with her. I wasn't asked if this was ok!! This is not the type of thing you want an audience for😅 She was rough with me and warned me about pressure/jabs AFTER she applied pressure or jabbed me. It was ridiculous. I was in to see if I had any cysts causing me immense pain. Because the student was there I heard her ask the one doing the ultrasound - "what is that?" As she was looking at my ultrasound. She said "that's a cyst. I'm not going to take a picture of it because I know what it is." So, she didn't take a picture of the thing that I was in there looking for. I had to tell my doctor myself because it was not included in the report. Wtf. I have heard so many similar stories from coworkers, friends, and locals that have had to get imaging/ultrasounds or anything regarding reproductive healthhere. If you can - planned parenthood in town is great but they aren't able to do everything. If you can, travel to Breck or the springs! I think this is an embarrassing topic a lot of peeps don't want to talk about - so here it is!! Go somewhere they will make you feel comfortable and welcome 💖

I came in a few years ago with a toothache that needed a root canal. It was a Friday night. They told me I'd have to wait for the dentist to open on Monday, and there was nothing they could do. I'm assuming they thought I was after pills and not actually in the worst pain I've had in my life. So I woke up my elderly father and had him go with me so maybe they'd take me seriously and see I wasn't a tweaker or anything. They prescribed me meds finally.

Last night, I took my daughter in. Neck sprain a few days ago. The pain woke her up at 2am after taking 400mg of ibuprofen at 10pm. They check her in, give her a catscan, and send us on our way saying we need to buy OTC children's painkillers, and that will do just fine. Like she wasn't taking more before we went in and it's not touching the pain. So all in all, I don't know what this hospitals motives or reasons are, but if you're in pain, they really want you to suffer through it. I guess since you can't SEE pain, they don't need to treat it? I don't know, watching my 10-year-old daughter suffer hasn't been fun, HRRMC.
