Barratt was a pleasure to work with. Communication was great. It was an added bonus to get regular updates on how the dog was progressing. My 1.5 year old WPG was having trouble holding steady and after a month at Homefield there was a lot of improvement. Looking forward to having Barratt work with my dog again.

We had such a good experience working with Barratt! He’s very knowledgeable and helped us understand how our dog thinks and learns. It was so amazing to see how much our dog could learn so quickly. Barratt has the necessary tools we didn’t have access to in order to properly train our pup and are so glad we brought her in to learn these valuable skills. We will keep working with him! ☺️

Wow!!! Barrett has a way with dogs. My 6 month Brittany spaniel pup went to him very timid. She's now playing with everyone and everything. She points and retrieves very nicely.
As I went to pick her up we put some more birds out and he walked me through everything he had been training. It was awesome walking with him and learning these things.
As we were leaving he reminded me to bring her back right before the season so we can shoot a few birds over her and to make sure I call if I have any questions or need some pointers!
I would recommend Barrett to anyone! Thanks again for all that you did starting my pup for her new way of life.

Would highly recommend Homefield Dog Training for anyone looking to elevate their dog’s abilities.

Barratt is knowledgeable and very helpful in understanding not only what he is doing with a pup, but why he is doing it as well.

Barratt did an amazing job with my chocolate lab puppy. I sent her in for 3 months and she came back a totally different dog in all the best ways. Barratt is a great trainer, he always keeps you in the loop with text and phone calls. He also sent me pictures and videos of her progress and what they are training on. I definitely recommend Home Field dog training! 10 out of 10

Barratt did awesome training my 8mo old gsp in upland hunting and honing in his obedience training! He regularly updated me through calls, texts, and photos so it was nice to be able to see Bear’s progression throughout the training. He also encouraged regular in person meetings which was awesome! I love being able to be hands on and put the new skills to use. Barratt also did a final in-field session with me and my dad showing us all the ins and outs of upland hunting (as I’m a newbie to the upland work) and we got to see Bear in action. Bear recalls great, walks so much better on a leash, does great in his travel kennel, and loves birds - I’m excited to see him work during the season! Highly recommend Barratt for training!
