We love Howliday Inn! Our dog is a large pit mix who we adopted as a stray. He has several, let’s say, strong personality traits. The trainers at Howliday have helped him become much more manageable. He’s still pretty rambunctious, but we have been taking him to daycare as well as to their trainers and he seems to be getting better all the time. They also have wonderful boarding facilities and he has stayed with them multiple times. He loves going and we don’t worry about how he is getting along while he is there. The staff there is very knowledgeable and helpful and they take the very best care of our boy while he’s there.

We love this place. The owners are good, honest, and hardworking people. We’ve been taking our dogs there for two years now and they have the same employees working for them. This speaks volumes. If they are good to their employees they will be good to your dogs. My husband and I went out of the country for a couple of weeks and I was struggling with leaving them that long. Brandon took the time to explain how a dog thinks and assured me they would be fine. We came home to happy dogs and the next time we board our babies we can go in peace. Brandon did a great dog training our Aussies. Trust me, they are a handful. Summer and Natalie whom I’ve had the most interaction with are angels and the rest of the crew as well. I won’t take my dogs anywhere else. They are truly the best.

My Story, toy Aussie, age 5, had high anxiety issues (loud noises, scared of pounding noises) and pretty much a “loner” at the house; on the ottoman or in her crate. Talked with Brandon, who thought they could help her. 2 weeks board and train and Rick and Danny did an amazing job! She is much calmer
and more loving (she actually comes and wants affection; belly rubbed). Amazing turn around, totally different dog. Thank you so very much!

Harley is always treated like family. I know this because how he behaves every time he goes. It makes my heart happy to know where he is and how he is being taken care of. Howliday Inn changed our lives 6 years ago. We had gotten our kids a puppy for Christmas. It was our first for them, we didn’t know what to expect. Lady is a mixed Weimaraner/Pit, from the beginning she wasn’t understanding the whole crate training, then she didn’t understand chewing on EVERYTHING was not a good idea. She chewed through the walls, bed frames, and even through my kids mattress. Then she began jumping on everyone, she was not a calm puppy anymore. Walking on a leash wasn’t even attempted any longer because she would drag all of us. We lost control of her. Contemplating giving her up or living this way till she “grew out” of it. We had a week long trip planned, so we decided to look around for boarding and possibly training at the same time. We came across Brandon at Howliday Inn, we told him everything she was doing, or not doing, which was listening to anything we say. We chose him and his staff at Howliday Inn, and in one week, we came back to a totally different Lady. She went to a few more classes for a few months, and of course we had to learn a few things ourselves as her humans. Six years later, and Brandon, Summer and staff are like family. We trust them to keep watch over our Lady when we are out of town, or for her to have a social day.

Trying to decide whether to keep your fur baby, call Howliday Inn, your puppy is worth it.

Our dog lady came here to be trained to get some manners and Danny and Rick took such wonderful care of her she came back to us a totally different young lady she was so full of anxiety before and now she listens and I am literally amazed at the job they have done with her thank you guys so much! we are so proud of how well lady is doing !!! Edit: wow, it looks like they have changed and become one of the best training facilites in our area. So many high praised instead of negative concern.
I'm so very happy to see this and the great comments telling me I'm off base. That is an enormous change from 7 years ago.
I look forward to heating more good things from them.
As promised I changed my review to five stars and will endorse as everyone else seems to do.

My experience is as a retired professional trainer of dogs. I trained over 50 customers back in 2018-2020 whom had sent their dogs to Howlidays. Each and everyone of them said that Howlidays used scare tactics to train their dogs, shock collars, choke collars, etc. Each and everyone of them had to have extensive training to teach there dogs not to fear.
When this was posted in 2019, I was threatened with lawsuits, slandering, legal implications on the company I represented. Free speech be damned, these people can't take criticism, even though they were the ones abusing dogs.

I have since read many positive reviews and have considered going there personally to watch their methods. If they have truly changed, I will personal advocate and change this to 5 stars.

If they react in the same unprofessional manner and threaten me. If they still use fear to train your dogs, I will proudly shut them down.

The ASPCA and other advocate dog organizations have already been put on notice and are ready to investigate.

Abusing and hurting dogs to scare them into submission is cruel, illegal, and wrong.

I hope these people reach out to me and have changed their ways.

They are currently working with my dog. They came out for a home visit to meet and get to know my dog. We discussed his challenges, and a plan was made to help. We have received some video updates that allow us to see his progress. The updates also help us with missing him. When training is complete, I will be shown how I can maintain the training for my dogs success.
