This is a great place for very care, and they have the highest quality food for your pet. I've been taking my dogs to see Carol since 2005. I prefer the care she provides over the standard vet offices that don't even get to know your pet. Great place and friendly staff!!

Singing stone wellness vet and staff is exceptionally rude and not to mention she charges you an arm and a leg for appointments, she charges you by minute. Made a mistake of going to her once but NEVER Again. Just Rude human being.

Great place to shop for your dogs. I get turkey and yam canned food for my dog, he loves it! He also likes the treats I bring him. They have free samples!

It pains me to share this experience. This has been my go to store since we moved to a small town about 45 minutes away about a year and a half ago. The third Thursday of every month I make a trip to fill my coolers with a premium 5* raw frozen dog food to take advantage of their once a month 10% off sale, and still spend around $350-$400 per month. The checkout staff has always been friendly and helpful -they recognize and greet me every month as “the Primal guy”; they have always been top notch, no complaints about the staff at all.

The source of my disappointment is with the owner. Unfortunately my stepfather passed away this week after a long fight with MS, Alzheimer’s, and finally ALS. As this is the week of the discount, and being a loyal customer, I called to ask if I could come in one day early for the discount, as I have to fly out of town on the Wednesday night. I was even prepared to show the death certificate so they could validate the reason. The clerk said he would deliver my request and call back with the answer.

I expected after a short time that I would recieve a call back with an ok to come in. After all the lifeblood of small business is the loyalty and dependability of their regular customers. In the age of big box stores and internet wholesalers it wouldn’t be hard to find another place that sells the same product at an equivalent or lower price. We even later researched and found the even with the 10% discount we were paying more than we needed. But we liked the store, it’s selection, and friendly staff, so we rewarded this small business with our business.

So, imagine my surprise to get a call that no, they would in fact not offer the discount, even knowing the extraordinary selection. The response was that the store policy was they couldn’t do it, or they would start having to make exceptions for everyone that had a problem. First, this isn’t some beauracratic big corporation with policy dictated from on high by an uncaring board of directors, but one where a single person can weigh the cost vs benefit of anything that takes place in her store. Small business is about relationships, and this decision indicates to me that the owner does not share that belief. That she would rather take advantage of a tragedy for nothing more than a few extra dollars. And secondly, the premise of the argument is simply a cop out. Nobody says you have to modify the policy for anyone who walks through the door, you get to decide. And rejecting a modest request from not just anyone, but a loyal customer who would have continued spending thousands of dollars in your store, demonstrates that there is no reason to show loyalty to your store, as it will not be appreciated.

Finally, this isn’t about money, it is about principle. It is about a small business hiding behind the types of excuses you would expect from a corporation, not embracing the human relational experience that small business is about. I am sorry to learn that you would choose to take advantage of a family tragedy for a few dollars, but at least now I understand Hungry Like the Woof’s business strategy. I give two stars because I have always liked the staff and they do an excellent job. I would give the staff 5* without hesitation. Unfortunately the same can’t be said for the ownership.

They have a fantastic selection of pet care supplies. Employees super friendly and very knowledgeable, and remember you when you come in! Our dogs enjoy being able to come along and get goodies from everyone!

Dr. Lundquist is every animals best friend, outside of its owner! Her compassion for their care and well-being lead to the creation of the Woof and you can see it in their selection, the wonderful staff, and our pet's health and longevity.
