Our experience with Interim HealthCare has been nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I met Zach, the community liaison, I knew we were in good hands. I was in a very challenging situation, with my mom recovering from a brain injury and my dad having just suffered a stroke. As an only child, there were many difficult decisions that I faced and Interim HealthCare made this journey so much easier.

The entire team at Interim HealthCare was warm, caring, and compassionate. They respected our wishes and always included both my mom and me in important conversations, something other medical professionals had often overlooked. Their dedication to ensuring we were both informed and involved was incredibly reassuring. I did not have one negative interaction with any of their staff.

Zach went above and beyond from the very beginning, helping me navigate through numerous challenges. He treated me like an equal, making the process feel personal rather than a cold business transaction. The team consistently advocated for my dad and our family, providing emotional support and compassionate care at every step.

Shayla, the nurse assigned to my dad, was an absolute angel. Her patience, kindness, and expertise made a significant difference in my dad's final days. She made him feel comfortable and cared for, and her support was invaluable to us.

Without Interim HealthCare, the last month would have been incredibly difficult for everyone involved. Their team not only provided exceptional care for my dad but also supported my mom and me in ways we never expected. I am deeply grateful for their unwavering support and highly recommend their services to anyone in need of hospice care.

We have had the best experience with Interim. The nurses, admin, social worker, chaplain, and CNA have gone above and beyond to help care for my husband as well as providing support for me, his caregiver. The process has been simple and they’ve provided everything we need for his daily care including his prescriptions, care items, bed, and wheelchair. In addition, they provide 5 days of respite for me every couple of months. Don’t be afraid to make the call. You or your loved one do not have to be at death’s door to receive amazing help from hospice.

I would highly recommend Interim Hospice of Abilene. The staff Susan G; Executive Director, Mauri G.; Community Liaison, Ronella H.; RN, Stephanie; RN, and Mona W.; Social Worker. It is always a very hard decision to call Hospice Care. When we try to make our Loved Ones Comfortable. We advocate for our loved ones but who advocates for the family? Interim Hospice advocated for me. Things were not being done the way the way they should have been at a local nursing home. They are such compassionate people and kept be informed through the entire process.
