If you want a sympathetic, patient doctor to deliver your baby, or want a VBAC, look elsewhere. I arrived at the hospital at 7 cm and doing incredibly well, but Dr. Pearson was insistent on checking me every 3 hours and clearly becoming upset that I wasn’t progressing to her liking. At one point she said “if you’re not progressing, you should go home, but you can’t go home because you’re 7 cm”. The look on the nurses faces was total disbelief. The mental pressure spaced my contractions to 8 min apart and I had to work with my husband and doula to get my oxytocin flowing again and get my contractions back on track. I should have fired her right then. During one of her subsequent checks, she broke my water without my consent. The shock sent my body and mind spiraling and I had to get an epidural. Ultimately I had to get another c section. She has absolutely no respect for a woman’s natural ability to birth. I feel greatly mislead because throughout our prenatal visits, she was supportive and positive. Also, don’t deliver at Providence Willamette Falls. The night-shift nurses are horrible. My baby was wrongfully diagnosed with GBS and treated when she was never positive in the first place. Absolute nightmare.

They respond really quickly all the time. Even when I called them, no one would put me on hold. I'm now scheduling an appointment and I've asked several questions via email and Jordan always responded fast. It was amazing and I really appreciate their help!

Dr Pearson and Jordan are great! I had my first pregnancy experience through them and I got great and thorough care. Dr Pearson has wonderful positive energy and Jordan is very friendly and helpful. Made me feel at ease especially having a bit of a complicated first trimester. I highly recommend them.

My girlfriend and I had an appointment scheduled for August 30th in anticipation of getting an ultrasound for our child-to-be. It was very important to us to be seen on this date, because we’re going out of country for 3 weeks on the 7th of September. This will be my only day off work to be able to go with her to receive this very important first look at what’s to come of our future. Joya failed us miserably. They cancelled our appointment because the one doctor they had on staff was out of office for whatever reason. We will not be returning to this clinic since they don’t seem to care enough about having enough staff to support their customers.

I am a patient of Dr. Pearson's and I have loved her care. We had discussed the possibility of being pregnant soon with IVF. Now that we've had a successful transfer, I have been denied as a patient because she has a "full book." I've discussed my upcoming care and needs only 5 months ago and told her we're in the beginning stages and she had never mentioned needing to look into other care because of her schedule. I'm livid at the way this was handled with Jackie the receptionist (who always had an attitude and was never a "Joy" to be around) and will not be returning as a patient to Joya.

I didnt have a good experience. Didn't feel taken care of after I had an intense and invasive procedure. I also had to have the procedure redone (possibly because they didn't do it correctly).

I love Dr. Pearson and her staff! I have never had a negative experience with them. I had my first baby last month and every single appointment with Dr. Pearson was a positive experience. She explains everything well and I always felt 100% comfortable with her. I left every appointment with all of my questions answered. Not to mention how friendly her and her staff are. There were always laughs at every appointment.
Dr. Pearson was so amazing and empowering during the birth of my baby. She truly made the experience as easy as possible for me. My husband and mom who were in the room during the birth have endless good things to say about her as well. I am so glad she was my doctor during my pregnancy!

As a woman with endometriosis and other problems, I sincerely appreciate the care I receive from Dr. Pearson and her staff!

I have always had extremely painful Pap smears and usually leave in tears. So I have a lot of anxiety. However, everything Dr. Pearson has done has been quick, painless and easy. I truly never imagined I would feel less anxiety going to these appointments but I do. It’s been life changing.

I had to have a procedure done here as well that was absolutely terrifying and I was very nervous. Dr. Pearson and the assistant in the room were so wonderful. They talked to me, joked, reassured me. It made it much easier to get my mind off things.

The office is cute and stylish and I like the gowns they give you, they aren’t freezing cold and huge and plastic feeling.

Dr. Pearson is very personable and I enjoy her sense of humor. It is very dry and I know some people may find it off putting but I find it endearing and it reminds me not to take myself too seriously when I’m sitting there buck naked!

I drive 45 minutes here and 45 minutes back and it’s worth every minute.
