I can't say enough good things about Kind Veterinary! They took such amazing care of my mini dachshund. The entire team was incredibly compassionate, knowledgeable, and attentive to every detail. They made sure my pup felt comfortable and safe throughout the entire visit. I was impressed with how thorough they were, explaining everything clearly and making sure I understood my pet’s needs. Kind vet has been phenomenal! I started taking my German shepherd mix, Dakota, there about a year ago. They helped me figure out he had anxiety and helped me figure out ways to help it. They took their time getting to know him and are an amazing team! This will be my forever vet for any animals I get.

We have been taking our 2 cats and 2 dogs to Kind for a little over a year. They have been wonderful. The care provided is top notch. One of our dogs is a large rescue dog who can have some behavioral issues when stressed, but they have always some compassion and understanding with him. We are so lucky to have found them when we moved to Minnesota.

Staff was very friendly but that where the good news ends. I brought my cat (Boomer) in for an urgent visit on August 6th this year to assess, what I thought at the time to be, a possible break or fracture in her leg. Turned out to an injured or torn ACL. They convinced me that I should have some blood work done while I was there, probably to rack up charges on the invoice. They tell me she had hyperthyroidism, common for her ripe young age of 10 years old. Leg injury aside she was a happy, energetic, loving playful cat. They told me she needed to be on a twice daily medication for the thyroid, did not inform me the this drug was a USP800(hazardous) medication and that I should wear gloves while handling it. We both started getting sick from the drug and she died 10 days later on August 16th, before I could even make the first credit card payment from the urgent visit. It is August 31st at the time of writing this review, just picked up her ashes yesterday. My best friend for 10 years is gone because I was told to give her a drug that she probably didn't even need.

My mother and I have been bringing our pets here for 6+ years, it has been nothing but downhill. In early January, I brought my dog in for a check up because she didn’t seem to feel the best, she was 13 yrs old, still doing amazing full of life and running around. They did a few tests, then asked if I wanted blood work that would add another $200 to my bill, I informed the vet that I could not afford that and wouldn’t be willing to do that unless really necessary and she did it anyway and then looked at me like I was stupid when it was time to pay. She also had me buy 8 cans of “vet recommended” soft food, though I was still told she is fine and going to be okay. On January 9th, I ended up at an emergency vet at 2am on a Sunday and had to pay over $1000 to have my pup put down due to internal health issues. Just yesterday, I had to return to this lovely facility to have my mothers cat spayed, which is said to be “covered” by them, it comes time to pay and they try charging me a $50 no show fee on my mothers behalf, and then charge me an extra $21 because I was 3 minutes late to drop off. If you’d like to see more care for your pet than more care for the money, I would not suggest this veterinarian.

We are so happy we found this veterinary clinic. while all other clinics are selling out to big fat corporate pigs. The entire staff were incredible and I hope they’re around for a long long time. Olive is doing great because of you all. Thank you for giving us more time with her.

Dr. Troutmiller is our go to vet for our 5 cats and one dog. She takes excellent care of all, and trust me I am very picky as an intensive care nurse of 30 years!
