I have mixed experience with this hospital. I got my first kitten in late 2023 and bought kitten program plus the spay procedure, they took good care of my first cat (vaccines, ear infection, nail trimming etc.). Then I got another kitten last spring and I bought the same package from the hospital. But when I sent my cats for blood tests (as required before spay), they charged me additional fee for blood tests even I told them I bought the spay package for my cats and everything should be included already. I was told this is not included. They also charged me for the pain pills after the cat spay surgery. It took me quite some effort to go back and argue with the front desk, multiple times, showed them the paperwork to finally get the refund for 3 double charges. Then one of my cats had UTI a few weeks ago, medication seems not helping much, I was told to send the cat in for urine test and X ray. I was told this is a very common thing and my cat is one of the calmest and most cooperative cat. I chose to trust the expert. Cat stayed from 10:30am to 3:30pm this Monday, I called around 3pm asking for the update, then I was told they failed to get the urine sample and asked me to come in to discuss the other options. When I rushed in, I was told to wait in the front, not knowing how long, and I waited with a non-stopping barking nasty dog. When the nurse bought my cat out, she’s not looking good at all, we shared the space with that nasty dog, I was told by the front desk that this is an animal hospital so I should expect to stay with non-stopping barking dogs. I cannot hear anything the nurse said due to the barking. The nurse was nice enough to offer me a room so we can continue the conversation. They have empty room, they also have empty office for a quick conversation. When I took my cat out of the bag, she’s shedding so bad, she’s so traumatized, my jacket became yellow because of her shedding fur (we brush her every day so she shouldn’t shed so badly). Then when I approached to the front desk to pay the bill, I asked front desk to show me the bill details, funny thing, I saw urine analysis charge so I asked why, they failed to get the urine sample but it doesn’t bother them to pre-charge the urine analysis. I think this place is just too busy to care a pet owner’s feeling, it’s not experienced enough to collect a urine sample, and not trustful due to all these double charge incidents. I used to pay whatever they said, now I no longer have that trust in them. By the way, I also asked the front desk about the microchip company shutting down, I was told they will email me for the solution, so far I haven’t received any email yet.

We LOVE Kohn Animal Hospital! Taking our four kitties to a clinic where they're comfortable and well cared for is a top priority, and I can confidently say that we consistently witness exceptional care, warmth, and professionalism here. We visited Dr. Mullen at Kohn Animal Hospital when our dog Lyova wasn’t feeling well. Dr. Mullen was incredibly attentive, kind, and professional. She thoroughly examined him, explained the test results in detail, and provided recommendations that quickly helped Lyova recover. Her genuine love for animals is evident in her care and approach. We are very grateful for her help and warm attitude. I highly recommend Kohn Animal Hospital to anyone looking for an excellent veterinarian!

They have some great staff, have always treated our dogs well.

They used to do 1/2 price vaccines but stopped. Recently prices have been increasing. Prices definitely match the neighborhood the vet is in, so just be prepared.

Again they have always done well for us. They have preformed major surgery, and recommend an emergency vet for us when needed. They online store for prescription meds is also a plus!

I could not be any more satisfied with my experience! If you’re looking for reliable veterinary care for exotic animals, Dr. Greta Mann and her team are who you should trust. I brought my crested gecko, Cricket, into Dr. Mann’s office today. This was her first veterinary appointment ever, so I was pretty nervous. When I was taken back to one of the exam rooms and removed Cricket from her carrier, she bolted from my hands and leapt onto the floor. The technician who was in the room with me reacted perfectly: no panicking, no sudden movements, and no chasing after her. They gave us some space, allowing me to safely collect Cricket from the floor. When Dr. Mann arrived, she crouched to the ground as she approached Cricket, displaying a clear understanding of what makes reptiles such as Cricket feel safer in unfamiliar situations. Dr. Mann handled my pet in a way that was firm, yet gentle, ensuring her safety (and preventing her from wiggling away) throughout the process. I’m so grateful that the team of Kohn Animal Hospital are knowledgeable in exotic animal husbandry and health. From the moment I walked in, every staff member I spoke to was kind, respectful, and friendly. Plus, this first appointment was free!

Absolutely love this place! All of their vets are very well educated, do a great job of explaining things simply & don’t try to oversell anything. They are great at communicating, very responsive, honest & genuine. Never had any delays to our appt time & front staff is always very supportive & helpful.

I recently had to make the heartbreaking decision to euthanize my beloved dog, Autumn, after she was diagnosed with lymphoma. Dr. Danielle and the entire team at the animal hospital were incredibly supportive and compassionate throughout this difficult time.

Dr. Danielle's care went above and beyond my expectations. She was incredibly helpful, sympathetic, and truly cared about Autumn and our family. She called us weekly to check in, providing guidance and reassurance every step of the way. Anytime I needed her, she was quick to respond, which made a world of difference during such a challenging period.

When the time came to say goodbye to Autumn, Dr. Danielle made the euthanizing experience as peaceful as possible. Her gentle and compassionate approach allowed me to be with Autumn every step of the way, providing comfort and support during our final moments together.

I am truly thankful for Dr. Danielle and the team at Kohn. Their dedication and kindness made an incredibly tough situation more bearable, and I will always be grateful for the care they provided to Autumn and our family.
